Too early to tell, but it may be a decent comparison IMO. Les had a lot of success at LSU after Saban left.

Kalen DeBoer had way more success pre-Alabama than Les Miles ever dreamed of having before he got to LSU.

Not my fight, but if Ryan Williams doesn't make that amazing play and Bama loses all anyone would be talking about is Deboer blowing a 28-0 lead.

In 2005 LSU led Tenn at home in similar fashion and blew a lead and lost at home
Deboer was one play from a similar fate and you can bet the Bama masses would have revolted losing a lead like that and Finebaum would have been crying in his cereal Sunday morning
