he's an Alabama boy, what do you expect?

It'll be fun watching all you losers when Dabo transfers to Alabama after Saban retires.

He not only recruits but also evaluates talent very well. They may not get the sheer number of super-elite players, but they get their targets in key positions and they maximize that talent.

I dont disagree, but remember, our best player on defense and arguably our best player on offense were 2 guys that were under recruited, and under the radar. Saban took a chance on them and turned one into a potential top 10 pick, and the other one might be the best RB in this years draft.

And there is Levi Wallace, who played intramural football his freshman year, then walked on, then earned a starting cb spot. He became one of the best cover corners under Saban, and he was a top performing CB in the NFL in 2018 after going undrafted.

Bama and most SEC teams have to sign more players, the SEC is brutal and the West is tough to get through unscathed. Then SECCG is a slug fest recently, the overall competition for an SEC team is several notches above the ACC.

Who are Clemson’s top 3 competitors in the ACC?

Hmmmm.....seems like not too long ago Kirby was a dumbass for calling a fake punt and failing. Saban calls a fake field goal and fails and Bama fans look the other way.

Slow your roll. Saban will go down as the all time best coach in CFB ever. Dabo takes a backseat to no one, but he doesn't have Saban's resume yet.

Dabo has a good team in the ACC that is capable of making the playoff pretty much every year due to 0 competition. Anything can happen in one game. Several SEC teams could accomplish what dabo has accomplished if placed in a similar situation.

right..cause the SEC can beat anyone other team.

Clemson doesn't have the biggest donor base, and the ACC doesn't earn them that much coin. So in some years they don't have the money to go around like with other years.

They had to spend $$ to renovate their old basketball arena and baseball stadium during those years, so they had to make some hard choices....

anybody who thought the SEC was good this year must not have watched it back in the day.

if the SEC is so brutal why does Alabama rarely lose in it.

I have no problem calling Dabo the best coach in the country, he deserves that title as much as anyone else.

It depends if you mean the best coach for a season, for a game, or for his career.

If you mean Swinney is the best coach in the country, career-wise, you are just pandering to the lowest common denominator in this group to fit in.

Everyone makes mistakes when being mercilessly beaten about the head, how can you not?

I'm not entirely sure if you are a sell-out, wishing to ingratiate yourself to posters here who you feel are better than you, or I'm just not understanding you. In what capacity do you think Dabo is a better coach?

Do you feel Dabo understands defensive strategies better than Saban? Is he a better X&O's coach than Saban? Better game coach? Better under pressure?

Has Swinney demonstrated to you that he is an overall better coach or do you feel the way you do just because LSU and auNeck posters on an obscure sport's message board say Dabo is more fun?

Is Les Miles a better coach than Saban? Miles beat Saban. Is Chizik better than Saban? Is Charlie Weatherbie better than Saban?

What is your determinant of what makes the best coach?

How come we never heard this the 1st 7 years of his career?

Hard to disagree about what he's accomplished but the narrative we heard REPEATEDLY about him was "Daboing" in big games.Especially '12,'13 and '14

Ok,so picking out random OOC losses proves what?

Should we compare to other conferences?

Don't know who's acting like that but if you can make a case for a better, deeper conference be my guest.

If and when Miami,FSU,VT and GT ever get their shite together again you might have a case for the ACC...highly unlikely though.
