Right, and if you read my post in full, you'd see where I pointed out that Dabo's deck has 4 and 5 star players in it that kicked arse against us, and that a part of being a successful college coach is recruiting well. What is your point here?

This is the gump thought process issue right here: This "SEC" supporting itself vs other conferences ended when the league turned its back on every team NOT from Tuscaloosa.

UF
Tenn
AUB
UGA (sometimes)
UK
State
Vandy (cuz Mason is a man)
Because of familiarity and respect, NOT because they are SEC.

It was; not many left out of schedule and it really stacked the class for this year. Not the best way to achieve roster management, but it does work for the atmosphere he's created.
This year they've already signed 27, and probably going to take 2-3 more, getting at or close to 30. Unless the coaches run players off, it's hard to have 25 every year with all the ways players can attrit - injury, NFL, transfer, quitting the sport.

Like I said in another post, I can understand the fans of teams that have actually beaten Bama in the last 8 years busting our chops because we got beat down by Clemson. But your fan base doesn't have a leg to stand on because the team you pull can't get the job done. Did you ever think it would be going on NINE long years since the mighty Tigers from Baton Rouge has claimed victory of the Tide?
