We do know. The tightrope surgery strengthens his ankles and helps prevent further injury.

I said "long term ramifications".

Reading is key.

Not sure that describes Brees correctly

Joe Burrow is an older QB closer to his athletic ceiling. Tua didn't have to wait for his 5th year to be great.

Pretty dumb assessment to draft one over the other. Both are great, but if your gonna split hairs to draft one....

What was the competition at qb for Tua vs Joe at OSU, that lead to one playing early and other sitting?

How did they play vs TOP competition?

Who was injury prone over their careers?

Who has more size?

If your basis to draft one of two elite QBs is...One played earlier than the other...well, you show you aren't close to being a GM making draft analysis and investing millions.

Burrow is less than 1 1/2 years older than Tua. Dumb !

Yep, Mcshay loves that comparison. Fair enough

But then, in the very same paragraph they say this about Burrow:

who did the "experts" say Burrow reminded them of?

yeah but you're a girl. If you'd learn to cook biscuits and clean grout you wouldn't need to worry about no footballs.

Is that why Brees rushed for 521 yards in his best season at Purdue?

Tua benefited from a clean pocket the majority of his career at Alabama. Not his fault Alabama had a good line.

Burrow has a step on your throat twice killer DNA like Brady. Clutch. Those traits are rare in a qb and can't be taught. Give me that dude.

Shut up... UGA has so much room to talk with all of the elite QB's that Kirby has churned out lately..

Tua was elite as a freshman. Great qb with bad injury luck. Burrow had one great year.

So Tuna had one great year?

I hate LSU and LOVE to troll them but I believe my eyes... Tua has more raw talent. His accuracy, quick release, and mechanics are damn near perfect but I give Burrow a slight edge... It's kinda like comparing Tom Brady to Peyton Manning. Joe is just a stone cold killer, with ice running through his veins... That MF is so damn slippery and cool in the pocket. Burrow reminds me of Joe Montana but MUCH more slippery in the pocket. You can't go wrong with either but if I'm a GM, I'd take Burrow over Tua right now... He has that IT factor that you can't teach..

With that said frick all you ugly LSU mf'ers...

Tua's rating under pressure is pretty solid evidence that he did benefit from a clean pocket.

QB - Passing grade under pressure
Joe Burrow - 80.5
Josh Love - 68.6
Jalen Hurts - 68.5
Jake Fromm - 63.6
Justin Herbert - 57.9
Tua Tagovailoa - 50.7
Jordan Love - 48.4
Anthony Gordon - 46.6
Jacob Eason - 37.6
Cole McDonald - 37.4
