edit: well, not bad as the junior year indicated and not as good as the senior year indicated averages out to not great but good

So you didn't actually say he was good. Didn't think so.

Joe Burrow is not great but he's good.

Fixed it.

I agree, he's not great, just better than everyone else.

Joe Burrow just needed to be in the right situation.
Tua was immediately in the right situation.

When it shakes out Tua will have played with 3 1st Round OTs, possibly 5 1st round WRs, possibly 2 first round RBs and a second Round TE.

If you can say this about Burrow I can say it about Tua. I guess he's not great, but he's good.

Both are rooted in the same amount of reality.

This is about to be the fullest draft in history. They did the exact same shite trying to hype RG3 as a possibility over Andrew Luck. Everyone knows who is going #1 and they’re worried about ratings. Media is trying to hype Tua to build suspense. Burrow is Tua’s new daddy.

And yet Burrow is the most accurate QB in college football history.

Interesting take.

Let me ask you this, would you rather have a guy that's already reached his ceiling and a great one or a guy that hasn't and could be great, with a long history of injuries?

Imo, it's just a copout and an excuse that he's been searching for and changed numerous times. It's ok to just say you like Tua better. It's not a singular opinion. No need to try to rationalize it numerous times with different reasons. It make you look ignorant.

Is that about right? Did I forget anything?

Yeah, you did, Jordan Jefferson.

According to you, Jordan Jefferson was just an analyst and a scheme away from throwing for 60+ TDs and winning the Heisman in 2011. Right?

I mean, hell, with the right analyst and scheme, Herman Johnson could've been a Heisman winning QB for LSU.

My contention is that Burrow wasn't as bad as his junior year indicated (never mind he wasn't good enough to play at Ohio State), and he isn't as good as the senior year indicates. My contention is that Joe Brady was very good at scheming a game plan for the opposition and getting receivers open.

Did you mean to put “my contention isn’t” at the beginning of one of those statements?

If you’re contention is that Joe Burrow isn’t as good as his senior year indicates, I would really like to see what data you can provide to support that claim.

Burrow is better than Tua. How is it not obvious to these people?
