Tua was elite as a freshman.

"He was so elite that Jalen Hurts was the starting quarterback, LMFAO"

and by the end of the season had replaced Hurts as starting qb, though Hurts was the SEC offensive player of the year the previous season.

As opposed to Joe Burrow, who couldn't get on the field at Ohio State and had to transfer to play.

Elite Freshman Tua threw 49 more passes in his freshman year than Average Joe Burrow.

You sound like a dumb arse by continually dying on this hill.

Didn't Hurts start the NCG? At what point did Tua replace him as the starter?

ETA: Tua threw 8 first half passes that entire season. Looks like you're making shite up again.

2nd half of the national title game, after Hurts went 3 of 8 for 21 yards. Tua won the national title. Like Burrow, Hurts eventually had to transfer.

So he didn't replace him as the starter at any point during his freshman season? Got it.

Also, harping on Burrow's transfer just makes you look petty.

Yep. He replaced him in the 2nd half of the national title game and never relinquished the position back to Hurts, though Hurts was SEC freshman of the year and SEC offensive player of the year the previous season. Hurts was a very good quarterback. He just wasn't as elite as Tua was from his freshman year.

Meanwhile, Joe Burrow couldn't start at Ohio State. He had to transfer, like Hurts.

Since Haskins put up better numbers than Tua, its possible Tua wouldve had to transfer too had he been at tOSU.

Your stupidity is astounding.

wrong answer. He was better than Burrow (but we already knew that)
but not better than Tua

Passer rating was such a useless metric that the NFL came up with an entirely different method to measure it.

Fitting that it's the only thing you can use.

Because QBR is the only thing that matters.

Right.

Nevermind that Haskins threw for more touchdowns, more yards, and completed a better percentage of his passes.

But hey, you're JohnMilner, facts dont mean a shite to you.

Elite as a freshman, my arse.

You fricked up and said some dumb arse shite and instead of just admitting you were wrong, you continue to dig a deeper hole.

do you just make up shite and throw it against the wall to see what sticks?

Tua passed for more yards, more touchdowns, a better touchdown/interception ratio, more yards per attempt, more yards per completion, and a much better qb rating.

You lie as much as William Taylor does, thinking nobody will check you on it. Wrong answer.

Tagovailoa

Haskins

Do you ever get tired of being wrong?

Tua is soft as frick. Both physically and mentally. Burrow out of the discussion, the NFL is going to eat Tua alive.

Are you retarded, John?

Seriously?

If you had any reading and comprehension skills you'd realize I was speaking about the 2018 season because that was the season before which Joe transferred.

My point was Haskins had better numbers so its entirely possible he could've beat out Tua.

Next time try to do a little reading before you feel clever as frick and throw some shite out there.

Pretty much every statement you've made in this thread has been false, which based on your recent history, is completely the norm.

Jackass.

so Burrow and Haskins were competing directly for the starting job at Ohio State and Burrow lost and had to transfer.

Tua was only a freshman, and before the year was out he replaced the previous season's SEC offensive player of the year, who also had to transfer.

Why this?

Because Tua was elite from his freshman year, and Burrow was not.

It only took him 98% of the season.
