Lol gone to where? Unless he is playing TE in the NFL he isn’t going anywhere until he graduate. And he better learn how to throw the ball down the field with some accuracy before he does that if he wants to continue to play this game past college

The deep ball is what he does best so you might want to watch more film before being OU BS in here.

He needs to work on the shorter passes which he did improve on as the year went on

Unfortunatel, this is his third year removed from high school so he is eligible.

Maybe he might make a draft board by his sixth year

Corral Not Opting Out

If we start opting out of the Sugar Bowl, the sport as we know and love it may not have hope

The sugar bowl is as pointless as the menthol bowl. Any non playoff bowl is a waste of time. Expand the playoff, and trash all bowl games

I know a guy that’s pretty proud of just getting the chance to lose a Sugar Bowl

I thought Corral had a great season and I enjoyed watching him play, except once. I think he'll do good on the next level and wish him the best.

No one thinks KJ is ready for the nfl but he had a nice first year as starting qb and I hope he stays two more years. I don't know why you would want to trash him.

Does having Venables mean that Oklahoma is going to build their program on stealing signs? It’s not against the rules so no judgement here. Just asking for a friend.

Me either. KJ is a good one. And a good kid. I like to see Mississippi kids succeed no matter where. And North Panola High is not a wealthy school. He has put the work in to get where he is.

More games that matter and less exhibition games doesn’t sound better to you? Ok….

Arkansas fans still mad about UGA and Ole Miss wrecking their early season momentum

The post-season matters to a lot of fan bases and players.

There are absolutely too many bowls, and that needs to be fixed; however, expanded playoffs that lessen importance of regular season and SoS in a single game series with high risk of needless injuries is dumb.

Cfb has the least parity of all sports.

Bcs typically always had it right. 4 solved the outlier seasons. 6, no more than 8, is sufficient to appease the crying.

But, bowls are the heart of D1 CFB. It needs to be protected

Corral is a fool. Kyle Trask lost himself money with his Bowl game film. And he was supposed to be a Heisman favorite last year, I see Corral falling into the same trap

I disagree. A 7-5 team jumping up and down holding trophies and pouring Gatorade on their Coach for winning the Nestle Crunch bowl is embarrassing.

Bowls were intended as a reward for a good season and a free trip and experience for the players. Also, a send off for the upperclassmen.

It is literally why polls used to end before the bowl season. It represents the heart of what makes CFB special.

They obviously carry more weight in certain games, but are, in large part, still about that experience. Plus, they allow a greater fan experience with OOC match ups not regularly seen

The problem isn't so much the playoffs, but the # of bowls that allow too many into the post season, which waters down the feeling one has "earned" a bowl trip.

They are hardly meaningless. Cut them by half and all would be better off. It may even target the root problem that D1 football is simply TOO large. Post-season should be more exclusive and parity would increase with a top tier class of football limited to the 60-80 team range

An excellent post!
I'd suggest anyone feeling differently should abandon the college game and just follow the NFL, because bowl games ain't going anywhere!

Lebby is coaching the bowl game. 0% chance Corral opts out also.
