My argument has been AU has faded at the end of the season and why Novembers performances have been an issue for most of Gus's teams. It might be due to depth or it might be due to Gus's coaching ability or ADD. Like I posted before, Gus is 12-16 over the last 4 games against Division I opponents. Some of the loses to UGA are unexplainable, but so are some of his Bowl loses. Nine of those SECE loses were to UGA and that is why moving the game to October is big.

IP if anyone in Auburn's Admin seriously cared about the football program making it to the next level then they'd have canned him by now. He has Auburn over a barrel, stuck in a one sided contract with an ridiculous buyout and zero accountability. How can anyone hold him to a standard or make him evolve that offense?

Do you really think moving the DSOR earlier and replacing them with the reigning National Champs will help? You get LSU/Bama back to back, is that better than UGA-cupcake-Bama?

Nothing in your link above supports your claim that an incredibly tough west slate before the UGA game is why AU is owned by UGA. Here are the national ranks from 06-19: 7 LSU 12 UF 30 Mizzou 33 Aggies 38 SC 49 MSU 59 Vols 71 Ark 76 UK 79 OM 100 Vandy

You are ignoring what the data I provide you shows. The East has been shite and UGA played one decent team (UF) prior to the Auburn Game in November. twenty years ago that was different. UT wasn't the shite storm they have been lately, UF was a powerhouse every year. The season was over after the UT-UF game, but then the East fell apart. Richt was able to be the best of the worst and Kirby has done same, they just couldn't get it done against the best in the West. Two game seasons is ACC LIKE.

The discussion was the UGA-AU series. I think this makes the LSU-AU game heavily shifted toward LSU. The home team usually wins that game, but this throws a wrench in that stat.

Who in the SEC has done better than Gus other than Saban ? Who else has a record close to Gus against Saban ? Who has more SECC ?

You are including bama in your numbers, but they aren’t relevant as they come after the uga game.

The numbers from 06-19 prove 2 things:

1. A fairly even comparison overall.

2. Not one year shows a western gauntlet before the uga game.

So to get this straight...

You claim the west is tough.
But instead of documenting how tough Ole miss and miss state are before your UGA game, you spend all of your time focusing on the East to make your point?

Do you see how retarded that is?

No, just showing how the West has been so much better the last 12 years. Everyone knows the shite show at UT and the struggles UF have had since UM left. Those were the standard bearers of the East. The point of showing Ole Miss and MSU, they use to be the bottom dwellers in the West, but both have been ranked in the top 4 the past decade at some point. Ole Miss beat Bama two out of three years. Petrino had Ark in the top 10. It has been a gauntlet for any SECW team and most of them feel it at the end of the year. Not so much for the SECE.

All you’re doing by arguing is bumping the thread, which leads to more people seeing that Auburn has been outscored 95-3 after the 1st quarter in Athens since 2011.

Throw in the game in Atlanta and it’s 123-3. Auburn is straight up arse away from home. They’re also 4-6 vs. UGA in the last 10 at home, but at least in most of those they scored after the first quarter.

You are right, 3 wins over Saban should cement Gus for years.

Gus runs that offense with a script, once the script goes stale after the opponent makes adjustments then ... well you've seen him a frazzled mess on the sidelines.

Until O duplicates it, he still has the 2nd best resume against him. Since he is the standard bearer for the SEC, it has to mean something.

You did it again.

1 giant paragraph and nothing in there details the strength of the West before you play UGA.
All you can do to build up the west is talk about the east.

The funniest part is that you cant help yourself. You get called out on it and go through the same BS all over again

I've been to nearly every DSOR in Athens in the last 30 years and it's been a long long time since we've played worth a shite there. Hoping we can change the result with some new Oktoberfest juju.

Is there anyone out there that thinks the East has been on par with the West the last 12 years ? My guess the only people who think that are UGA fans, because the link I provided proved otherwise.

I think I heard that only once in the last 11 years that a team from the West hasn't played in the NC game.

Now you change the subject from your original point the the SEC West is why you struggle against UGA so much.

How embarrassing it must be to be constantly outscored by Georgia?
Georgia!
Come on man. That’s bad.
