After 3 weeks, it appears that the conference powers have reversed with the PAC 10 at #1, the ACC at 2 and the SEC is the weakest conference ( Alabama lost to Texas, Florida lost to Utah and then beat Tennessee, North Carolina demolished SC, Miami took apart A & M, BYU beat Arkansas, FSU beat LSU). These loses shouldn’t go away, but they will be dismissed by ESPN & the pundits as the narrative will become how deep & difficult the league is as they beat each other.

so...is the SEC not allowed a down year? Honest question?
The SEC has been easily the most dominant conference for 15 years atleast, I think one down year is allowed. Id argue a lot of it is due to the high turnover from coaches in the past few years, and probably some NIL. The ACC seems to be having a changing of the guard with Clemson dropping, and FSU,Duke,UNC being able to challenge them
I also think a lot of teams will be better next year.

More like 100, but the post WW II dictatorship of Beyers and the NCAA clouded it till the CFA created a secondary outlet for schools not in the B1G or PAC media monopoly.
