I'm one of the Alabama fans that said by the middle of the season last year that Tua was the best qb on the team. Pissed off most of the other UA fans, most of whom supported Jalen Hurts.

That said, though I think and certainly hope that Tua will be in that best of all time SEC qb discussions, maybe we should pump the brakes a little right now.

LSU defense is overrated. If La Tech can roast that vaunted defense then Tua and the Tide will have no problem. Tiger Stadium will witness a massacre that night and the fans will be calling for Ed's head after the monumental beating. It's coming.

There's no way he wins as many games as Tebow. Tebow was 35-6 as a starter. Tua will, at most, start in 30 games.
not sure why you use Tebow here.

AJ McCarron was 36-4 as a starter, with 3 National Titles, 2 as a starter

The only good defense bama plays all year is LSU and Auburn unless ya’ll make it to the SEC championship and play Georgia.

You just put up a link to statistics earlier in this thread showing MSU as the highest rated defense on Alabama's schedule. At least be consistent.

It really looks like the only thing Tebow was better at was being utilized as a runner inside the redzone.

Tua has a better completion percentage, more passing touchdowns, zero interceptions and a better YPC average (when he does rush). Tebows rushing average is 5.1 and he score a TD on average 1 every 10 carries. Tua's rushing average is 5.7 and he has scored a touchdown 1 out of every 9 carries.
