Georgia DID prep for him. Kirby even said so himself.

That's the one concept that is completely over every Bama fans head.

It won't matter when he does, he'll torch them too.

After watching LaTech's QB slice and dice us I'm less than optimistic about stopping Tua

That he also torched UGA's defense as a true freshman is one concept you totally ignore

I don't put much faith in stats where a player comes in as a desperate move and no pressure if he loses. Plus it doesn't change anything about these stats Bama fans are blowing up the board with are against bad defenses this year.

But the bad thing is, as soon as he faces a good defense, if he does the same thing to them we will just hear that the defense wasn't any good. People were saying all last week that aTm would be his first real test. He had 300+ yards.

I'm not saying he's the greatest ever. Not even remotely suggesting it. But his talent level is incredible. He has the potential to break a lot of records and do great things. I'll save the GOAT talk until he actually does become the greatest

And at what point does it stop being "bad defenses" and start being that he's just really good? When he struggles against a team? If he struggles against a good defense then the narrative will switch to "he's not that good."

It's a no win situation.

Tebow was a shitty QB. He was basically Jalen that was somewhat better at passing.

So Tebow and Jalen were shitty QBs that played on talent rich teams with dominating defenses, Is that what you're saying? Shitty jalen took bama to 2 NC. Then basically tua is nothing more than a competent QB playing on a talent rich team, so he's not great, just on a great team. Similar to Ken Dorsey, I agree.

I give absolutely zero fricks where he is in held in esteem relative to other greats in the SEC or across CFB. Win games; make opponents weep and gnash their teeth. As long as that happens, I don't care if someone wants to say that he isn't in the Top 50.

In another life, I bet Tua would be an outstanding relief pitcher for our NL East Champion Braves.

You didn't put much faith in the fact he played well every chance he got last season because you said there was no pressure on him because we were ahead.

So he came in down 13-0 in the title game and the UA offense had produced nothing, and he pulls the game out and wins a national title under intense pressure, but according to you, no pressure at all.

You're nuts.

I don't know if you pay attention to a poster's opinions and general demeanor, but Rabern is not someone you should look to for anything resembling objectivity or an informed opinion regarding Alabama.

And Bama fans are objective about their own team? Yall already have fans putting him in the same league as Brady and Manning and the best SEC player ever after 4 games against defenses that aren't even in the top 3rd (one barely in the top half) of the nation and yall can't even admit Tua hasn't started against a quality Defense yet.

See, that wasn't so hard. That's 3 of us in the first 15 minutes.
