Golesh got it done in Athens year one, something that hasn’t been done since Tuberville was our coach. With what we have been through the last 5 years I always wondered if or when we would get win like this again. There will be some more growing pains before we get to where we should be but the SEC has been put on notice, Auburn football is BACK. Athens, we won in Athens, it’s like a fever dream.

Was there in '99 when all my uga buddies were so eager to watch Auburn get steamrolled. It was almost comical to see the fans boooing their own team at the HALF!

Good times.

I was there as a student in 2005… was so much fun.

Can’t imagine what the folks felt when that kick went through yesterday. From UGA first down on that 94 yrd drive, that outcome felt inevitable.

Rough season. Had Leard stayed healthy that team would have bowled. Poor Jeff Klein was in over his head.

UGA was when he got back and he just fed Ronney a stream of passes to bury them lol.

I know the game ball went to McPherson, but let's give a big hand to the linemen on both sides of the ball, they were very present today, but we still have a lot to go. Two 4th down conversions, and good protection for pivotal moments like the game winning kick, but still definitely still needs work. Also the push on the DL probably got Gunnar flustered to even push his lineman into the fumble.

Definitely a team win. But there is no more of an “Auburn Man” on this team than Alex. Deserved the game ball. Well earned young man. Clutch kick and what was great I honestly had zero doubts he would make it.

Had a great kick earlier as well and it to was a massive.

Melendez should most definitely be defensive player of the week for the SEC. What 11 tackles, sack, INT, and a massive pass breakup

Let's give a big hand to Bryce Deas for his 8 Solo TOT, he took over very well for X.

Man, it just feels good. A missing feeling for almost a decade.

We don’t have to today but this is one now we need to stack a few of these. We need at least one of the next 2 games.

Celebrate away!!

Alex. Deserved the game ball.
The wind was an adversary yesterday. And it probably forced a lower angle of kick than normal and coupled with Stockton's bad hold helped us make the block. There was also something funky at the end of 1st half where Kirby was wonky with their kicking game.

We won that battle... but punting is still a mystery.

The O-line gelled a bit and that made many things possible in Athens. I want Auburn to have the best O-line in the NCAA next year!

My daughter is a fairly high level high school runner whose freshman year has been kind of shot because of some medical issues and she has been extremely frustrated and struggling the last several weeks. She finally had a decent race yesterday and hopefully is headed back in the right direction. I say all that to say it was cool being able talk with her about perseverance through trials after watching him have that moment yesterday.

Anyone coming into this season would have said getting through October 2-2 would be a huge win.
