I have nothing against either, but I’ll say this again, Clemson fans are NOTHING like you people think...they’re actually very nice people...and this is from someone who was born and raised in South Louisiana. I talk to a lot, casually, and they are cool folk... they don’t hate Bama, or anyone else but USC. Georgia’s second on the list...lol
I have made Clemson and USC friends since I’ve been here...
On the other hand, from experience, talking to Gamecock fans, they’re entitled without having anything to be entitled about...
To be honest, there is probably more of a feeling of a rivalry with UGA at this point. Part of me feels bad for UofSC fans at this point. It's been an Auburn-like roller-coaster of a year on the gridiron. Their fans deserve better.
It wouldn't shock me to see UofSC keep it close this year and give us a run for our money. If I was Muschamp I would focus on running the ball to shorten the game. Basically follow the UNC playbook and hope Clemson has a bad day.

I would like for you guys to go after someone a little flamboyant. A coach with a little baggage might be a interesting change of pace.
Lane Kiffen can recruit like a mother, great offensive mind and is a great trash talker...he would spice up your program and get some really sold offensive players...
Mike Leach: I love this guy. I would hate for him to go to South Carolina because I would have to root for your team when they are not playing us and that would be against my DNA
Greg Sciano is a damn fine coach that got blamed for doing nothing wrong and was declared guilty by association and the Tennessee fans deserve every bad thing that is happening to them for what they did to his reputation.
There are others but these would all be home runs

Lol... I don't know why, but when I imagine CarolinaGirl's online persona, it's a dead ringer for Gretchen Wilson.

Not that any of the above matters but does anyone think that the Gamecocks have a decent shot to upset Clemson?

Yikes. Y'all already make fun of our student's propensity to procreate behind the dumpsters outside of Willy B on gameday and having no shame in the stands, either (even when on Nat'l tv)...Lane would fit riiigghhhht in. He'd have a ball with the coeds here.

We have the Hilinski connection. Leach coached Ryan's older brother, Tyler, at Washington State. Mark and Kym (Ty and Ryan's parents) were at Washington State this past Saturday where they honored Tyler in memory on Senior Day. Would be hilariously entertaining to have him here. Love the guy.

Not really sure our powers that be would be willing to go out on a limb here. If Tanner is still AD, no way. (if Tanner is still AD I'm rioting)

Yet.

Carolina's had more injuries in 2 of Muschamp's 4 seasons - than USC ever had in any of the 24 previous seasons - prior to WM - as a member of the SEC.
This can't be true.

Based on this, the likelihood you've had any interaction with a Gamecock fan living where you say you do is slim to none. There are very few of us, if any, up that way. So your perception of us appears to be clouded by the Clemson fans who surround you.

Say what you want, but there isn't a fanbase in this country who, year in and year out, would support a mediocre to bad team like Gamecock fans do. We put up with more shite in one year than LSU or Clemson people have seen the past decade. It isn't entitlement, it's a fanatical desire to succeed and a frustration that we haven't even come close save a 3-year run earlier this decade.

Y'all need to quit getting people's hopes up.
Y'all know good and well Clemson is as good as anyone at this point in the season. They won't let usc hold them out of the playoff.
If it happened though, that Would guarantee Lsu still getting in, even with a loss to Georgia.

Clemson has a bye this last week so I highly doubt it but weird things can always happen.
I would actually say this works against us. We were absolutely buzzsawing people before the bye. If we’d played South Carolina last week we would’ve won by 50.
I still think we’ll be fine, but I hate going into a bye when you’re playing so well.

Lol. It’ll be at minimum 35+% Clemson fans.

Well, if she's an Aggie, then I'm still correct, 'cause Aggies never play for anything of importance either.
Go take a Mydol and lay down.
