Lonnie, as an Air Force Veteran and an Assistant Scout Master for over 8 years in the Boy Scouts I have some knowledge on the concept of service and I agree with you. As proud as I am of my time in the military, I am as proud of my time is scouting where one of the most basic aspects of advancement is for the Scouts to perform various service projects in the community.

Anyway, community service is a such a personally rewarding thing to do and as you said, that's a big problem with our communities is not enough people just lending a helping hand with no expectation except maybe a little gratitude.

No service should be diminished because it doesn't fit someone's narrative.

The year we lost to The Citadel we lost to Clemson 35-31 IIRC. With that being said, we have no chance in hell on Saturday.

Well on paper you might not but I have never seen a game played on paper. You’re 35-31 post proves my point anything can happen.

I've never heard anyone but LSU fans use that particular line. Do Clemson fans say it too? Seems a little homoerotic for them...

Bumping this, in the vein of "Service" and rivalries.

One thing the local schools do out here during rivalry week (Which was the first week of the year out here) is have a food drive. The week Utah and BYU play, they set up 3 barrels in the front door of the school and have a canned food drive for the local food bank. One barrel is for Utah, one is for BYU and they have another one for "Other teams". The "team" that gets the most food donations "wins" and the kids get bragging rights for the year. It's a fun way to get the kids involved and contribute to a good cause.

It's something that could easily be done in lots of places.

We can have a dance off or a rap battle instead of someone "letting you have it on the internet" lol

I'll go with rap off. Would take to many days to recover from a dance off.

Thank God, I immediately regretted having dance off as an option but I couldn't back track on it. Just wanna let you know, I've watched 8 Mile multiple times

Rap Battle or Wrap Battle?

(Did an Aggie come up with the concept for this show? )
