What's up with the home and home with Georgia? Is it happening?

The paranoia and insular entitlement of the LSU fan base knows no limit. Honestly, who would bitch about going first with your also-ran football program playing one of the current top CFB programs? Never change LSU...
oh...and the SEC ofice in Birmingham probably set this up with help from the NCAA which is staffed by Alabama graduates and controlled by “little Nicky.” They will also pick the refs, insure there is no hot chocolate if it is cold,

LSU fans need to watch their corn hole when going to Clemson

I'll give Clemson credit for scheduling this series, if it's ever played.
Posted on 8/15/18 at 12:43 pm to Carolina_Girl
a lot of UGA fans were complaining about scheduling Clemson b/c they think it will help Clemson recruit in GA. it won't surprise me if their AD backed off b/c of that.

LSU, as usual, hoses itself and makes the first visit.
Maybe I don’t know how this works but considering the state of the two programs do you really think LSU has that bargaining chip??

Who cares if Clemson was the first to call its stadium "Death Valley".... the issue everyone has is the notion of it being claimed as "Death Valley" in the first place.
It may have been "Death Valley" to FCS Presbyterian, but to everyone else, pretending Clemson's home stadium has been historically intimidating is a complete joke.
In the polling era (1936-present), over 70% of all of Clemson's home wins have been played against FCS schools like Presbyterian or to teams that finished with a winning percentage of 50% or worse.
**Clemson's very first win at home against a team that would finish in the AP Top 25 came in 1981.
**Clemson has only defeated 17 opponents at home who have finished in the AP Top 25. That's 17 EVER! Of those, seven finished between #21 and #25.
**Clemson has only defeated 10 opponents at home who have finished in the AP Top 20.
**CLemson has only defeated 2 (!) opponents at home who have finished in the AP Top 10.... Those were #6 Georgia in 1981 and #10 Auburn in 2017.
Last year's win over Auburn was literally the 2nd biggest win at home in Clemson football history.
*Eight of Clemson's 17 wins over Top 25 teams have come during the Dabo era.
I think the problem folks have with Clemson calling their home stadium "Death Valley" is the fact that everyone knows that Clemson football pre-Dabo was a complete joke. To act as if Clemson has some type of historic presence in the game is not fooling anyone.

A home and home makes it even better.
I think that is a great move for both schools to do a home and home. It's great for each fan bases. Both schools are probably giving up a fortune by not doing those dip-shite neutral site games for this but it's better for football when teams are playing on campus in a college atmosphere.
I would love to see games like UGA-FU (UF) play home and home for a change!

Death Valley is in LSU. That can't even be argued. No one in the USA outside of SC thinks of Clemson as Death Valley.
And please tell me that Clemson mascot isn't real. Those eyes are a joke.

For real though, I feel like Clemson is due some respect for committing to playing two SEC teams OOC almost every year
Begrudgingly, I have to give them some semblance of respect for this.
I also believe they are biting-off more than they can chew. After all, they'll not only fail at regularly facing two, they would never survive eight a season.
What the sheep humping sister bangers are good at though is biting livestock peen ... according to the SPCA at least.

Clemson won a title in 1981 and was one of the best programs in the 1980s. Your comment doesn't make any sense.
Obviously Clemson wasn't as good when it was a military college up until 1955.

This works for LSU. Clemson will be back to mediocrity by then.

when is SC going to achieve mediocrity.
