Before injury I would have taken Waddle before both of them. His level of explosion is rare, and he can contribute as a PR/KR as well. No idea how his injury hurt those traits

He just didn’t enter the draft because of the hype that Ruggs and Jeudy got. Smitty was just a quiet dude, but he put the haters to sleep last season.

No it’s not, you know we are having a conversation and 3 different people are replying to me. You can figure it out, you are a big kid.

The way I see it is that both are two of the best WR prospects ever and are miles ahead of Waddle and every other receiver in this draft (including Kyle Pitts)

Kyle Pitts has a much rarer skillset than either of these guys.

Who gives a sh*t? It's not like Chase is mocked as a 1st rounder and Smitty as a 3rd rounder. The difference is going to be a handful of picks.

Come back in 10 years and we can reevaluate whether they were drafted in the correct order.

Well, you're wrong on this one. He was our most productive WR in 2019.
Towards the end of the 2019 season I started to notice just how good Smith was and started to believe he might just be the best of the whole group. This season he proved it.

Well sure. He played 4 years compared to 2

Say he had a better career that’s fine. He didn’t perform better in college though.

ok.

You can settle this by going back and compare how many pic plays they both were involved in..

Never understood why people give a shite about draft rankings.

I guess some people are dumb enough to think they actually mean something.

I see him a lot like Ruggs but with better WR skills than Ruggs. An explosive speed merchant. But both Chase and Smith are better WR's

Like I said earlier. If Smitty proves himself again, it’ll all work out. Not sure why LSU fans are so anal about people saying Smitty deserves to go first, because by every football metric, other than physical size, he should.

I need the Dolphins to decide they NEED Chase and the Bengals are taking him so they offer Atlanta both 1st rd picks to get to 4. Then we take Pitts or Sewell who ever Cincy passes on and Harris in the lower 1st rd lol.

but his physical size is an issue. Chase brings all those same things but without the size issue.

It's not the LSU fans saying Chase is a better pro prospect, it is the people who evaluate and draft for the NFL that say Chase is a slightly better prospect than Smith. It's a little odd how upset you are about the projected difference between where the two are expected to be picked.

Why should he go first?

What "football metrics?"

I'm upset to see Mocks with Waddle going ahead of Smith.

I just don't get that. Teams might really be over worried about Smiths size. I think he has proven how tough he is. He should be able to get up to at least 185 fairly easily in an NFL program.
