But are you a bandwagoner if you were born and raised in the state in which your favorite team is located? For instance...there are a lot of Chinese nationals who attended and graduated UA when I was there, yet they didn't care about football at all. There are many Alabama rednecks living in a trailer park, having never gotten anything above a GED, who are much bigger fans than those university graduates.

That would be a case-by-case basis.
I’d say if you had a family member that attended and you still go to games and cheer during down periods, then you probably aren’t a bandwagonner.
