We beat Florida by a point last season, and you apparently think we're going to have a worse offense and defense.
Yes.

But UF is a huge clusterfrick, and are trending down.

I expect their defense to be better, and their offense to be worse.

Mullen will right the ship, but UF fans are going to need some patience.

2 corners

Ehhhh.. We still have Greedy, who will man one corner, and Kary Vincent who played nickel when Toliver was out.

2 OLB

Now that's just a straight up reach. Key played half the year, and Thompson missed a few games also. Still have Chiasson who started most of the year.

one MLB.

Again, Ehhhh.. I think MLB will be a huge strength for our defense this year. Sure we lost alexander but both Taylor and Phillips played a lot this year. I think we'll be better next year at linebacker than we were this year.

Couple that with Fehoko/Shelvin joining the mix on the line, and about 11 safeties returning and I think we'll be much improved. So expecting a top 25 defense is far from ludicrous.

Coach O and staff will need to follow Coach Bryant's Plan.........

“I honestly believe that if you are willing to out-condition the opponent, have confidence in your ability, be more aggressive than your opponent and have a genuine desire for team victory, you will become the national champions. If you have all the above, you will acquire confidence and poise, and you will have those intangibles that win the close ones.”

That said, youth next season will make 2019 something to look forward to.

I'm tired of this excuse. Every year we are 'young'

We have got to stop losing so many juniors to the draft. How good would we be if Key, Guice, and Weathersby were returning?

Every team is losing their best JR's to the draft. You need to find yourself another plan. Money talks.

In Jordan Hare considering Gus's collapse at LSU kept us out of the playoffs last year?

If LSU keeps it within double digits I would be surprised. Last time we had a situation like this with Gus circling the LSU game at JH, AU won by about 40 and could have beaten LSU by 60 that night.

Yall wouldn't have gotten in losing the SEC championship the way you did even if you'd have beaten us. tOSU goes in easily over yall.

Why? New starting QB that saw almost no time last year, new RBs and WRs, and an OC that hasn't legitimately run an offense in forever.

Disagree but doesn't matter.

Just like in 2014 Gus and the staff and team believe it and are very pissed about the LSU loss. Easily our worst loss of the year and very nearly got Gus and the entire staff fired.

You can bet that game will be circled, Jordan Hare will be irate and Gus will run it up if he can.

I personally think that game will be LSU's biggest loss and game least likely to win this year.

Why would they have taken you over tOSU? You'd both have ended with 2 losses, and they'd have the conference championship. Losing on championship weekend while they beat an undefeated team would have had you out for sure.

We had a stronger resume, better wins and losses, easy.

Not even making it to a conference championship didn't keep Bama out who had zero quality wins now did it?

Whatever helps you sleep at night. 11-2 B1G champ tOSU is getting in over 11-2 SEC runner up Auburn every time.
