these articles are so stupid
using anonymous coaches
most coaches that want to stay in the profession are not participating in this crap
I say fake news made up by the journalists
Using the conferences to identify the sources is pretty pathetic

As an LSU fan, how am i supposed to be mad about the way he left Oxford?

What else could he have done besides stay and why would that be a good thing for me?

Neither do I. Hasn't won anything of relevance in his career.

It could be the text messages, emails, etc… that have surfaced. It could be the story of him fkd up in a bar bathroom in Oxford early in his tenure that prompted a rehab stint. The rehab story is hearsay but not refuted from what I’ve seen.

If Ole Miss knew all of this, why were they trying to extend him?

If it was always the intent to leave for better job why wasnt he more transparent about it all along?

I've never heard a coach say they intend to leave for a better job really.

We stuck by a guy who beat up his neighbor and another guy who was buying hookers. We are white trash to the core.

the ncaa and college football playoff with 12 teams has made it very difficult for coaches to leave cleanly. Stupid deadlines and scheduling played a major factor in why so many messy transitions occurred

What does this even mean? Did he slam the door on his way out? If you're a good coach then people are naturally going to be upset when you leave for another job.

It's the way he handled his exit.

Exactly what a scared Alabama mouth breather would say. What else ya got? Nobody can be Saban… not even Saban which is why he quit when the playing field couldn’t be tilted to benefit him.
But you still sound scared. Exactly as you should.

Lame Kiffin couldn't get his act together to win a championship as a HC.

Those two did it in a completely different era.

I like how we pick and choose when the non-NIL era counts or doesn't.

When it comes to what Lane Kiffin has done as a college football coach from 2001-2020 = it 100% counts. He didn't win anything of note.

When it comes to what literally any other coach as done as a college football coach from 2001-2020 = it doesn't count. College football titles/accomplishments before NIL don't hold much weight anymore.

Nobody knows how Kiffin will do. He has never won at any level. He’s still an immature womanizer. These are facts, not opinions. The pressure on him to win immediately is immense. He typically folds like a cheap chair under pressure.

Should be fun to watch either way. Everybody hates him and is rooting against him. LSU now the most polarizing team in CFB.

I didn’t know any of this until he left.
People would make jokes about him getting with coeds but thought it was just part of the Joey Freshwater persona.

Then you find out about the pickle ball court suck n frick pipeline. And the bags he really loves getting from Tyler. Him being forced to go to AA by Keith because he was such a drunken embarrassment his first year in Oxford. And the stalking of his girlfriend during Kentucky week instead of game prep (which that loss cost us a playoff appearance)

You realize he truly is not a good guy at all. Same evolution as hugh freeze without torpedoing the program (thank god for Golding)

So a bunch of jilted lover bullshite that was made up after he left. Y'all have literally been wrong about everything regarding this situation.
