Cali legislation topic: Whose Boosters are best equipped to buy recruits?

Like it or not, this new law will allow Boosters to pay recruits to attend their favorite university. Some of you think this is a bad thing. But, I think it's a great thing.
Anyway, What schools alums and boosters are best equipped for recruiting success in this brave new world?

pretty much all major universities. The larger the Alumni base, the more opportunities

Nothing will change. Boosters already keep players who perform well comfortable.

Nike is going to laugh at all your local "rich" boosters.

Why does it have to be a booster and not based on market share? Georgia state has 53,000 students enrolled. Suntrust would likely pay more to have their QB be on an ad in the Atlanta market than say a Suntrust, BXS or Regions would pay a Mississippi State player to advertise in the golden triangle region
Regions is also the official sponsor of the SEC. They could pay players a signing bonus on behalf of SEC Universities to get someone from say Washington state that would normally have no interest.
They would then direct that player to the university where they are trying to gain the most market share from their competitors.
This isn't amateur hour. We are talking about multibillion empire that is about to transform then crumble

You aren't considering the advantages of being in a major media market. When your star recruit gets introduced at the Lakers game halftime show, with a meet/greet to follow the game. You don't get that exposure, those accolades with 1,000 car dealerships vying for you instead if 5 in Tuscaloosa or Auburn or Athens or Gainesville.
The major programs, with the most $ among the alumni, in the largest markets will win this sweepstakes...and it'll be the end of college sports as we know it. Mass consolidation at those schools, at the most popular sports, and at the most rewarding positions. Why would you play safety when you could play WR or RB and get PAID.
Give it 10 years and USC will be absolutely on top of the world of college athletics in every sport that matters. Guess what, Kentucky...nobody gives a crap about tradition and championships anymore...it's all about the money and sorry, Lexington, KY isn't competing with major markets.

Already proven:
Alabama but UGA is closing the gap fast.

This is exactly what will happen. Auburn, for example, will not have access to any recruit signed with Nike. Georgia Tech, as Russell's only contracted P5 team, will not have access to any recruits.

The Big 10 will be best positioned - specifically Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Penn State, Northwestern and a couple others. If money is the deciding factor, they would have the deepest pockets of alumni bases that care about CFB.

Richest alumni and sports the schools are competitive in at the top level (most likely impacted by rule):
Harvard - (alumni estimated total wealth $4.8 trillion)- Basketball
Stanford - (alumni estimated total wealth $2.9 trillion) - Football, Basketball, Baseball
Penn - (alumni estimated total wealth $1.8 trillion) - Basketball
Princeton - (alumni estimated total wealth $1.1 trillion) - Basketball
Miami - (alumni estimated total wealth $1.1 trillion) - Football, Basketball, Baseball
Cal - (alumni estimated total wealth $760 billion) - Football, Basketball, Baseball
Michigan - (alumni estimated total wealth $691 billion) - Football, Basketball Baseball
Northwestern (alumni estimated total wealth $389 billion) - Football, Basketball, Baseball
Texas - (alumni estimated total wealth $463 billion) - Football, Basketball, Baseball
UCLA - (alumni estimated total wealth $375 billion) - Football, Basketball, Baseball
UVA - (alumni estimated total wealth $246 billion) - Football, Basketball, Baseball
USC - (alumni estimated total wealth $188 billion) - Football, Basketball, Baseball
Notre Dame - (alumni estimated total wealth $179 billion) - Football, Basketball, Baseball
That tells you who has the most money available...now the question is...who is most willing to part with it for their school's athletics program?

Oregon has Nike.
Seems the most obvious to me.

Boosters will have their say but so will true sponsors. A Nike type will be better served if they endorse a player in Los Angeles than in some small southern town. Bigger market = bigger pay.
