re: Is anyone in the mid morning to late morning delivery window for packages?
Posted by McCaigBro69 on 4/9/26 at 4:10 pm to travelgamer
I used to think the same
I have Amazon shite delivered between 5-7 am regularly. I also currently live in a house that will have UPS/fedex delivered before noon like half the time.
I’m 35 and have lived in like a dozen homes apartments fwiw.

People will say I’m the crazy one, but I find anybody that brings their ‘lunch’ to the office the ultimate NPC.
If I’m in the office that day, you bet your arse I’m taking my opportunity to grab lunch, run errands, etc…and stretch it to 90 min at least.

I love him as well, but the guy was largely a platoon baw for us his entire career!

I have listened to both and that is a true statement for me, for sure. The guy that does Dungeon Crawler Carl is amazing. I believe he does the voice of every character for the first several books.

2010 - was my freshman year at Baylor. We had a really fun team
- Quincy Acy
- Ekpe Udoh
- LaceDarius Dunn
- Corey Jefferson
- Tweety Carter
- Josh Lomers
Me and a bunch of baws including my roommates that I’ve known since 2nd grade all went down to Houston for Sweet 16/Elite 8
We SMOKED St Mary’s in S16. I remember their fans were so nice lol.
We also were going bucket for bucket w Duke in E8. There was a BOGUS charge call on Acy that was a block. Turned all momentum as it would have been an and one and Baylor lead if converted. iirc with like 2-3 min to go. Duke closed it out, whatever.
Best part was we randomly went to surface on I guess the off day and got shitfaced out there and created some drinking game, ‘beer bucket’ . Still played to this day when we all get together for a destination fantasy draft. Thank you for giving me a platform to reminisce.

From what I’ve read, the movie’s run time literally pushes the IMax film limit.
Oppenheimer apparently used a first of its kind reel to achieve its duration.

I can’t stop refreshing this thread looking for reactions.
It makes me genuinely happy to see so many others enjoying it. I thought it was incredible as a book reader.

He was using his engine to bounce IR light off of Rocky’s ship. they didn’t explain this in movie I don’t think, but they show the engine and the light it creates when burning astrophage during this process.
In the book he had been watching Rocky’s ship by the engine light as they went their separate ways and based the starting point off of that. Want to say they’d been going for like 10 days or 2 weeks or so.
if I’m wrong on something someone please correct me.

re: Any older guys know or have an older friend that is a virgin?
Posted by McCaigBro69 on 3/21/26 at 1:59 pm to dexy82
My uncle is 64 and a virgin. Him and my aunt had a kid using the science crap 7-8 years ago. She was 51 when she had the kiddo.
This is my aunt’s fourth marriage. She had drug issues and was in rehab a couple times in her 20’s and met him at a health spa in Dallas that she worked at like 15-20 years ago.
They dated for 12 years, she ultimatum’d marriage or she was gone. He said nah, eventually came crawling back. He also dated some other broad for 20 years or so before that and she left because he never popped the question.
Uncle is an amazing man. Born in a shitbox in Missouri to a dirt poor family. Both him and his brother went to law school and were attorneys at a very well known firm in Dallas. Both made millions. Almost certainly the most wealthy individual I know and I’d say he is the smartest man I’ve met to date as well.
Guy is normal, can carry convos very easy, just was apparently a workaholic and had no time for women.
Both my uncle and his brother are in their 60’s, his brother also never married and never really dated. So I’m assuming he’s a virgin as well.

Imax 70mm in Dallas has the decent seats sold out for the next week. This is with showings at 8:30 am and 2:30 am each day. Crazy!

Showed the show to my gf last year and we made a run thru the second season of their hideout being in that dam or bunker for the Men of Letters.
Show is a fun ride, just so damn long.
