well, step 1. Get a rival you had since before the civil war. 2. Go frick yourself.

Don’t like Mizzou, don’t like Drinkwitz. Yet, I’m stuck here dealing with newfound respect precisely because he tried to run it up. It’s not often that it’s justified but it sure as hell was here.

He didn’t try to run the score up for style points. He was mad that Kansas used a controversial piece of history on 9/11 for a football game. He actually wanted to embarrass Kansas for their lack of sensitivity.

Guess you don't know what a rivalry game means ...

It means you keep your foot on the gas till the clock hits zero.

No Quarter.

It’s not bush league. Jeez. These guys are paid now, they are big boys from D1 schools. Not like they are playing an outclassed, undermanned DII school. I say score until clock runs out.

Stfu.

1. If they can’t stop you, that’s on them.
2. It’s early in the season, these are extremely valuable opportunities for game reps and to get film
3. You and every other fan would be fine with it if it were their school

It is never bush league to try and drop another score on your arch rival if you have the opportunity to do so.

I was proud of Mizzou for doing what they did. This is a bloody, violent conflict that has an analog in a sports setting. It's not unlike an Englad vs Germany soccer match.

It's a genuine, true rivalry, that has much deeper roots than Rah Rah school pride.

I hate Clemson with every fiber of my being, and while SC has actually drawn weapons on Clemson in the past, at the end of the day, they're still Carolinians. Even I can admit that Missouri and Kansas have nothing in common, and never have. It really is Us v Them.

Good job, Mizzou. frick Kansas.

Whether intentional or not, play until the end. It could be a blowout and I’d still try to score if it means getting alternates in to have experience. And if I was on the other end getting blown out, I’d send in alternates to get the experience. Maybe they don’t see it as a blowout and more of an opportunity to just play meaningful minutes.

Get the frick outa here you see the crazy higher than thee “hype” video Kansas needs to go back to the Stone Age as that’s what they want. Hope Missouri doesn’t allow another game going forward as that’s how Kansas views it

it can be, but i get it. it's early, you need the practice, and you may want your subs (?) if they're in, to get a real practice in rather than just run the clock out. you have to do what's best for your team. it can be chicken sh*t, depending on the circumstances.
