Who the hell is Moo State gonna get this late in the game?

I guess Jason Garrett wouldn't be a terrible hire.

Existing precedent set by the NCAA.

Um,

"An NLI can be declared null and void under certain circumstances, such as a school committing recruiting rules violations. A student-athlete can be released from an NLI via appeal under “extenuating” circumstances such as illness, family issues or financial hardship. A coaching change does not provide an escape hatch"

I'm sure you're familiar with the part in bold. The last line doesn't help your argument, though

I'm hearing Josh McDaniel is the primary target with Brady to take on the QB coaching and play calling.

Hahaha sure coaches will be lined up to jump at that job that can get you fired after two seasons. State is following the Arkansas model apparently.

It's not that they won't find a coach, it's that the inmates are now running the show. If the fan base is not happy in year 2, rumors will be started and the process repeated.

The lowered the standard.

This can’t be true, two years ago we were all told that Moorhead was gonna take State to a level that Mullen never could...

Moorhead wasn’t ready for a HC job in the SEC. He spent more than one press conference insulting fans this year that rightfully criticized him.

I expect Napier to be announced no later than Tuesday and it’s an upgrade. He can bring in a great staff.

I mean not really. We hired a guy that lost weight instead of putting it on. Our previous coach didn't have a motorcycle wreck/affair with a second rate volleyball player.

We are light years ahead of Arky. I'm not happy how this was handled, but it had to be done. I wish Moorhead the best and TBH i think he ends up being a very successful HC eventually. He's smart and there is still time for him to learn from mistakes and find the right place. I'm guessing somewhere like Washington or Hawaii. It has plenty of sand for him to pound and rocks.

They must have Napier or Hudspeth in the bag. But I don't even know if they have that. I'm afraid we're about to get Arkansas level desperate.

I think your AD will or has made the hire. The issue is how long does he get based on an empowered fan base and people who now feel they can start rumors and get him fired because they deem it what's best for the program.
