Only Kentucky (not by a lot, either) and Vandy have fewer, and they're tied with State.

'86 is random. Let's just go from '92 and SEC expansion where SC is a cool 7-4.

Have you noticed there are not any responses from Arky fans? They see the topic heading and don't dare open it. They know.

I'll slow it down for you. I was surprised to see they had only been to 11 bowls since 1986, based on how their fans talk about their history. Are you getting it now?

Hey buddy, I doubt any Mizzou fan has been talking proudly about Mizzou's history. Want to know why?

Because we sucked massive amounts of dick for the 80s and early 90s. Enormous amounts of dick. Every Mizzou fan knows that, and every Mizzou fan steps pretty gently around it because, you know, we really sucked.

So take the false premise you created to try to talk shite about Mizzou point and you go right ahead and frick yourself.

Big 6 membership is a thing that's mentioned on here by Mizzou fans because we're the unquestioned king of the east for the past few years and talking about the Big 6 gets the chawchewers around here riled up better than anything else.

Glad I could clear this up for you. I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening.

Every time I tried to tell Mizzou fans their football program had a mediocre history, they threw a temper tantrum. So, which is it? Y'all sucked arse in the 80s and 90s, so that doesn't count I guess. Prior to the 80s, I mean, that's not really even modern day college football. You could MAYBE count the 70s. So your program is a johnny come lately, that never really came at all? Am I on the right track here?

I actually did it to point out Arkansas' abysmal bowl performance. Pick any time period and their bowl performance is horrible.

Our recent bowl record is abysmal.

Until you score on our defense you're still our bitch. Bert broke it off in your arse...I know dat hurt.

Who dat? Dat's yo' daddy....his name Bert.

Doubtful, unless the person you were telling in your example (I doubt this situation happened multiple times) was born after like 1995 and has no actual memory of a time when Mizzou sucked with the exception of the little hiccup before we started out reign of the east division.

Lately I've been choosing to base everything on the past decade and a half because it makes me happier than wondering what would have happened if Barbara Uehling and Woody Widenhofer hadn't shown up.

You can characterize the Mizzou football program however you'd like based on any time frame you choose.

I guess, winning an SEC division two years in a row isn't as impressive as it used to be now that a Big 12/B1G team has done it twice in a row.

Wow! Your bowl record must be a touchy subject. Razorbacks are the runt of the SEC. The sooner you can accept it the better you will be.

Teams like Bama get to enjoy the legacy of their long ago past.

So should Mizzou.

Missouri was a very solid program that went to high end bowls back when it was actually an honor to go bowling.

We don't hide from the 20 year lull, we know it happened, and we're comfortable acknowledging it because of where we are today as a program.

Razorbacks....an embarrassment as a representative of the SWC and now the SEC. Just accept reality.
