This is what happens when you don’t include Israel in negotiations and the MOU. Trump knew chances were slim that Israel would quit bombing Lebanon. But he had those terms in the MOU anyway to have something…anything…to sign on his birthday for his insatiable desire for showmanship.

He wants the deal to be signed so badly on his birthday. It’s not a coincidence after all this back and forth that it would be signed today, I hope he isn’t giving in on his original terms just to do so.
