In every bowl game I've seen this week the announcers spend as much time talking about the NC game as the game they're calling. even in the Rose Bowl they're talking about the NC game during half time and during the game.
The Playoff has ruined the bowl games.

Exactly why we didn't give a big enough shite to get to one.

They do seem to be less inspiring.

They mean a ton to the future of your team. Lots of underclassmen get extra work

Yes. His take would be better received if he wasn't a Georgia fan.

Saban said that when they went to a playoff. It’s not going back now. But I will say this to teams like Alabama this year I think it was important because it can help set the time for next season. For teams that have no shot at making playoffs next year you’re right it’s really a glorified scrimmage where players get swag.

You mean they spend a lot of time hyping the game broadcast on ESPN. If the NC was not on ESPN it would not be talked about during the games as much.

Move to a 32-team playoff. Ditch the bowls, and the conference championships. .

It’s an extra game for your team. If you as a fan or they as players can’t get excited about that, then it’s a personal problem.

Should have played better in the conference championship game that was played in your back yard.

I’m sure to some poor kid from Milwaukee who gets to go to the Rose Bowl and California for the first time for free this game means nothing.

Exactly, if you put the uni on you better fricking man up! The teams with lack luster effort have other problems.

Not when half your starters quit on their coach and teammates, like Georgia.
