Hating on Wade is still the cool thing at the moment.

It's weird how they didn't hate on him when he was at McNeese or NC State.

Another week of all this WINNING and Obama will be raping nuns and killing puppies!

Obama is gay so if anything it would be the opposite.

Welcome to the seventies.

I have seen numbers that range from $17/ton to $65/ton stored.

About how much could be stored per unit?

Pore space owner signs a lease, gets paid based off acreage.

Carbon units are formed. Injector wells drilled. Then storage “royalties” are paid out to the lessors.

How much are they paying to lease the land and what are the royalties?

When I was a kid back in the mid 60's my dad had a scanner radio and we could listen to police and fire dispatch and police chatter. My dad was a fireman. When shite went down in The Bottoms, or Cedar Grove, I recall asking my dad, *What's a JANI?

In the 60s there were still a lot of white people living in Cedar Grove.

In the 80s, at LSUSMC, a resident drew a police artist sketch of Some Dude" and hung the wanted poster on the wall in the ER because he was responsible for so many stabbings and shootings that took place "on the corner."
In 70 years the percentage of blacks has grown about 2%. I wonder why its not more? Hmmmm.
As long as they are paying her and her medical bills why would you care if there is a WC claim?

With WC its not the big claims that makes premiums go up, its the small ones.

Your parents and your boss are.

Yep, seniority means nothing when he doesn't represent the people of the state.
I think it's time we let Osyka claim her.

I call bullshite. There are not millions of Ethnic dance majors & underwater basket weaving majors. There are thousands, but not millions.

Nobody said there are millions of Ethnic Dance majors. Relax. The issue isn’t tiny niche majors. It’s the huge low-earning ones. Psychology, Education, Communications, Liberal Arts, Social Work, Criminal Justice… those pump out nearly a million graduates every year, and about half of them take on $20K–$40K of debt for salaries in the $35K–$45K range. That’s where the millions come from. Not underwater basket weaving. Just regular, everyday low ROI degrees.

quote:

The high income fields you listed are some of the most popular majors out there. Nursing & finance especially.

Only about 25% of students choose those high ROI majors. The other 75% pile into psychology, education, communications, liberal arts, sociology, and criminal justice. Most students aren’t choosing the high income fields you’re talking about.
quote:

well dont let your kid choose the dumb degrees.

75% of degrees could be considered dumb degrees when you add debt to the equation.

in the end its up to the parents to guide them.
I don't disagree.

I just meant a degree isnt worthless and most good jobs require it as a barrier of entry.

That depends on the degree.

Huh??

Was John Delorean trying to pass off the failure of his company to Lee Iacocca?
Back in the 80's I would have taken a tumble with Grace and would have told you about it if I lived.
quote:

why do you repeat stupid shite?

It's not stupid to say because there are millions of students that are taking on $20K to $40K of debt for degrees that don’t produce enough income to justify it. IMO, that makes those degrees worthless but I could see where you could consider worthless too strong of a word

quote:

why does the average college grad make a million more than the average without over the course of a life time?

Because the average includes the top 25% of degree like engineering, computer science, finance, nursing, and other high ROI fields earning far more than both noncollege workers and most other college majors. These highest earning degrees pull the overall average upward, creating the appearance that “college” in general produces a million dollar lifetime advantage, even though most degrees do not.

He sounds stupid.

Or he is in great health and enjoys the work. At age 68, the "average" remaining life expectancy for a male is about 15.6 years, which suggests a total lifespan of roughly 83.6 years. He also is increasing the amount of his SS benefit he will or is already receiving. That doesn't sound very stupid to me.
