I don’t know, O is recruiting at a high level, high enough that like Bama losing a star player likely just means another takes his place. As long as LSU is willing to shell out big money for good assistants I think O will continue to compete

Welp. Let’s see. Brady is not going anywhere.
Bama analyst advantage is gone
LSU line of scrimmage talent level is still very average..no pass rush to speak of..Beat Bama and everyone else anyway. This year might be the lowest talent level LSU will have for several years. Bama Dline advantage is erased by the current recruiting class
LSU now recruiting nationally so that Bama advantage gone.
Bama went to an innovative offense with the Kiffin hire. That advantage now gone
Btw once you commit to the spread..a lot of coaches can develop it and run it.
Miles Brennan has a much bigger arm than Burrow
5 star QBs now visiting LSU.. never happened before.
All of just means that the SEC West competition has just gotten better. Bama will have to beat LSU and vice versa head up with execution on the field..instead of easily dominating an old style I formation no imagination team...
Have a nice day.

Change your mind? This D is bad arse when has to be....like the first half of Bama or the first half of OM. After we started beating the absolute dog shite out of both of you they could take it easy. Maybe play us closer next year so you aren’t racing to catch up

Pretty sure your scrub defense and bum kicker will cost you a citrus bowl trophy. Bama is on the steep decline. Get used to it bitch. Rtwfu

Bama fan saying change my mind is impossible. Gump Brain has permanent damage, see Updike for example.

I went into this season thinking the defense would be excellent. Some injuries, and the unaccustomed pace of the game (I’m guessing), plus large leads caused them to give up a lot of points and yards. But if you notice, when games were in doubt the defense kicked arse. Bama was down 33-13 with 7 coming on a punt return. The defense seemed pretty damn good until the result was no longer in doubt.
That’s been the story in almost every game. The defense does well in the first half, LSU has a 20 point lead at halftime, and then they relax and get gashed. And all the while the offense is matching the other team, and we win by 20.
When we lost the #1 seed the defense got the message, and for the first time this season they kept a business-like approach and shut A&M down 50-7. The defense was outscored by 5 points. That was the best showing since the first half of the Bama game in which the defense (responsible for the last TD of the half) was essentially tied by the Bama offense.

I remember when everyone said this about 2010 Auburn.
Outside of their defense line their defense was hot garbage. Historically bad pass defense for a championship team.
The offense was too good and it didn't matter
2019 LSU has a better offense.
It's a much tougher task for LSU potentially having a 3 game stretch of elite defenses in Georgia Clemson and Ohio State but theyre good enough to win it all.

Kids, go get grandpa. Yeah, he's off his meds, outside screaming at the street signs again.
While you're at it Billy, go back in the shed and get the shotgun. Yeah, the one that we used on Ol' Duke. It might be getting close to that time for Gramps. If he starts frothing like Ol' Duke did...we'll know.

And while you’re at it, dig up the posts prior to the ‘11 LSU Bama game. Wait, Goldtide was 9 then. This is utter stupidity.

I'll believe that someone can stop LSU's offense enough to win when I see it.
AU kind of almost did it, but they still gave up like 500 yards of offense.
Maybe it happens, but I wouldn't bet on it.
