This offense is not anything that CFB has dealt with before. It's not Air Raid, it's not RPO nor is it a west coast variant. It is a high pressure downfield 1 on 1 matchup offense with concepts from all of the above then some.
No team has zero liabilities in coverage... NONE. Thus if the coaches have identified the right target they will exploit it. They may have a drive where a team shows them a look they didn't expect, but over a 60 minute game they will get theirs.
No other team does this, OSU and Clemson while extremely good offenses don't use all of the tactics LSU does. They can fall victim to scheming. I don't see a Scheme alone doing enough vs LSU for another offense to keep up.

LSU has elite players on D and still makes plays when needed, so not sure what you are talking about.
They are also peaking at the right time.
Getting a healthy Delpit back seems to be huge. He was a massive liability playing with a bad ankle against Alabama and Ole Miss. He looked so slow. They rested him for the Arkansas game and he looked so much quicker this past week against A&M.

I seem to remember a lot of people saying he would be fired after 2 years and never sniff winning the west. O is a good coach and has gotten better every single year he has been a HC. No reason to think there will be a massive drop off because of one assistant.
