ATM and uga should move down a tier, not terrible rankings, Oregon st that high surprises me.

If you have only one national championship in 1939 and haven't won a conference championship since 1998, you shouldn't ranked on a "blue blood" list.

I'd flip USC and Michigan...otherwise, the top 5 actual blue bloods is correct.

No. That is not what it says. It does include all eras, but gives a weighted balance to recency. You get a bit more credit for being good now, but all data is included. And, it appears as if the weight given to each era is reasonable.

How is fsu ahead of miami? miami has 5 titles to fsu's 3. I don't have a problem with both being ahead of UF but fsu over miami makes no sense to me.

They are awfully close and t seems like he could have put them in the same tier...but then you have the Penn State and FSU problem, as they are very close, too. I thought drawing the line at 9 for Blue Bloods a bit arbitrary and he could have drawn it at 10 and included LSU, but then he would have Penn State and FSU fans complaining about being so close to LSU and Georgia.

Which is a silly argument. The BIG 12 was a premier conference back in the days when Oklahoma was a huge power. Probably a stronger conference than the SEC.

also - the *footnote* of >> 40 programs audited << clearly the word RANDOM was omitted -
when you have any list of blue bloods that contains the likes of Oklahoma State Arizona State Oregon State TCU West Virginia Boise State under evaluation - you should admit failure and move to ranking sesame street episodes instead -

Stupid algorithm. Schools should definitely get deductions for having bad seasons and that would put Nebraska and USC way closer to where they actually belong
