A troublesome American situation indeed when the heart of the land of Cowboys has become filled with pussies.

Down incredibly bad over there.

If they had anything of substance to go to court over they wouldn’t be kicking and screaming like a toddler with these impotent statements and weak cease and desist letters. It’s all over but the crying…and crying they are doing.

I have no affinity for the Big 12. But I am concerned at ESPN/Disney treating the sport like its own little sandbox. We're going to end up with a boring, formulaic, corporatized, mickey mouse version of college football. And it's going to suck.

If it weren’t just entertainment media, I’d be more up in arms about the anti-competitive consolidation of major players in modern entertainment. It sucks for TV, film, and sports but it ain’t like it is taking food off my plate so I can’t get too worked about it.

Doesn’t matter concerning OU/UT. He’s just trying to keep the rats left onboard from jumping ship. He loses one more, the conference goes belly up and he’s out of a job.

Indeed. Starr didn't go to the Men's room without Dodd's permission.

Big XII probably should have got out in front of this years ago when ESPN paid Texas hundreds of millions of dollars for LHN
instead of waiting until now when it's already crumbled to nothing.

I was all for schools getting more money. More balanced scheduling. The sec getting out in front of the inevitable two power conference set up.

But what’s going on appears to be ESPN attempting a monopoly on college football. What schools are going to make will be pennies in comparison to what ESPN/Disney is going to make. I’m not liking where this is going anymore. I don’t want them controlling college football.

Yeah, please lecture us on something you don't have the slightest clue about. About 12 different factors led to that but it's not worth explaining to some trolling asshat

You need six members to have a conference, so if three split then it's all over.

Big 12: ESPN conspired with American to take “3-5” teams to AAC. Story up soon.

No let him continue. I’d love to get lectured by people in the worst run states in the country.

ESPN wants to push the process along to get Texas and OU to the SEC faster and with less Penalties. I think if 6 schools leave, the conference is dissolved, and no payout penalties to other schools left behind.

It's funny these morons never did anything to improve the conference ever, fought expansion, but now want to milk Texas and OU for all they can get on their way out..

Lectures by people in the worst run state would involve me listening to Texans.
