Did Florida give Blakely a full release to any school? I feel like we wouldn't of given him release to a SEC school.

Coach Boom probably wouldn't let him go to an SEC East school and some of the West schools as well, but it wasn't too long ago that he was at Auburn and he and Chizik supposedly have a decent relationship

I think it's funny that everyone over here insists Smith is just messing with everyone, but he's a lock to UGA. He didn't even list then in his leaders. Even the guys on Dawgrant aren't holding out a lot of hope for Smith. They're pinning their hopes on Blanks.

Dawgvent don't know shite. One of the insiders on Dawgpost who somehow has serious connections within the staff predicted every commit last year and where the one's we didn't get ended up. He's been saying, like another above poster, that Geno Smith is just being coy about the whole process and is ours to lose. He and Keith Marshall are both ours to lose at this point.

Ya i've read this too, but i also heard that we are losing some ground on Geno. Hopefully Smith is pulling a "Kansas City Shuffle", but IMO all these early commits mean nothing if UGA turns out at least 9-3 this year. Recruits will be much more inclined to join another stellar recruiting class with Richt's position intact. Then again, this is just my opinion.
