re: Retro Handhelds - audodger
The RG350M came in today. I had done a lot of prep work to get images setup for all my roms, and I was able to get everything setup how I wanted it on the stock firmware in a couple hours. It's pretty great. It's by far the most solid construction I've ever seen from a handheld. The name brands don'...

re: HVAC Expert Needed - audodger
Yep, charge was 2 lbs low. Crossing my fingers for a slow leak as it's been 3 years since my last charge. I have no idea why my last HVAC tech told me the charge was fine a few weeks ago, but I suppose it's possible that I suddenly developed a bad leak. That would be weird timing, though. ...

re: Civ 5 - What's your favorite civ ? - audodger
Civ V with expansions is the GOAT, imo. Games usually take 3 to 10 hours depending on speed of play and # of turns to win. If you want games to be shorter, play on quick, and if you like to take your time with longer games play on epic or marathon. You can enjoy it on Prince or King difficulty after...

re: HVAC Expert Needed - audodger
Wow! Thanks everyone for all the advice! I checked the condenser coil, and it didn't appear to be very dirty. I used a flashlight so I could see inside the fins, and there was a little bit of dirt, but not much. I went ahead and rinsed it pretty good anyway. I can only peek at my evaporator ...

re: HVAC Expert Needed - audodger
ApexTiger
I'm in NW GA so humidity is definitely a factor. Do you suggest I just ensure the system is off for a few hours each night with the fan running and keep a close eye on the evaporator coil to make sure it doesn't freeze until I can get a dehumidifier installed if I need to...
I had this issue a few year back and found we had a leak and the system was low.
That's what I would think too, but the HVAC tech said charge was fine, and I'm having an air flow issue at times that seems to go away when I turn the blower off and back on. I did have low charge abou...
Yeah it could be what you said. You need a tech to check.
Could a malfunctioning capacitor cause it to slow the blower motor down which is then causing my evaporator coil to freeze?...
i hear it makes the AI way less retarded in combat
This. It's programmed so the AI is always comparing itself to you concerning numerous values, particularly strength. Depending on the leader's personality (which uses RNG for a different range for each leader), it will decide whet...

HVAC Expert Needed - audodger
Highs have been 91F or so recently with lows around 72F. I came home from work Friday night, and temp inside was 80F. I had low air flow, and the evaporator coil was frozen. I turned the A/C off and left the blower fan running overnight. The next morning, the evaporator coil was no longer frozen so ...

re: Ive never played WOW, should i try it? - audodger
In all seriousness, it's probably not a healthy life choice. You may end up loving it, and if so, it can consume you. If you don't love it, you wasted your time and money. Kind of a lose-lose in my opinion. ...

re: Civ 5 - What's your favorite civ ? - audodger
Outside of Babylon and Korea for science, I always liked India for terrace farms, Shoshone to claim early territory / choke other Civs and to use pathfinders to find huts and upgrade to ridiculously early composite bowmen, England for insane navy (rush great lighthouse, too) and the OP longbowman, a...

Has this guy not been fired yet? What if he had said what he said about other groups of people (also wrong, but that's not the point, also don't cancel me)? Would free speech protect him then? Or would the university be cowering before our new overlords? This crap is beyond ridiculous. Eta: You ...

I'm getting pretty hyped for it. I've been using Skraper to build directories with pictures for each of my games (see below). I should be able to set it up so I can scroll through these images to choose the game I want to play instead of just scrolling through a bland menu. I've also been going thro...

re: Retro Handhelds - audodger
Thanks for the suggestion, but I've modded several systems, including the PSP, and I'm not crazy about the thumbstick on the PSP or the feel of the buttons. It has always felt pretty fragile to me. As far as modded name brands, the 3DS was my favorite, but it was also the biggest pain. I ended up lo...
