Think Hillary wins?

ISWYADH

I Posted my reasons why recently.
But yes I'm 99.999% sure with even more confidence than my board famous 2012 failure, that barring any indictment (no shot in hell) or national emergency (slightly less shot in hell) she will win comfortably.
I'm among my friends and brothers on here that are resigned to just let it burn down. I don't think we last another half century. Maybe in name, but nothing to related to the nation's founding. The parallels between us and the end of Rome are quite concerning.

Now this is a Gettysburg thread so I will say, The CSA had an amazing chance to absolutely divide the AoP in half and win on July 2nd... IF They would have advanced only 1 or 2 hours before, and it wouldnt even had been necessary had they seen the opportunity to occupy the round tops while there was nothing more than a flag signal corps up there. Sickles damn near destroyed the army, his army with his political arse-hattery. Luckily for him and for the union army Lee was even more bullheaded and the ANV got a late start. July 3 was a hail mary that had 0.0% completion rate.

Only a very small number of North Carolinians and a few Virginians made it to the wall.
The bulk majority were out of the fight before they even reached emmitsburg road which acted as a meat grinder of sorts as union artillery swept down both sides of the line from both flanks.
It was doomed from the start and under no possible scenario could that exact assault have succeeded.
Not rubbing it in. All stated was factual.
Had MANY ancestors on that field representing Georgia, Alabama and Texas.
I will never back down from my opinion that Lee was a stubborn fool and could have easily flanked the entire union army had he acted sooner and on the suggestion of Longstreet, Hood and many others.
People still so salty though. Them downvotes are flyin in my op.
What is left of Pickett, Pettigrew and Trimble's boys are hauling arse and/or limping back to the tree line from whence they came less than an hour before. Greeting them is the stubborn Robert E. Lee, repeatedly saying "It is my fault. It is all my fault."
Refusing the advice and suggestion of many of his officers to exploit the union left, the old man decided a head on assault across a mile of wide open wheatfields and pastures was a much wiser decision. When told he must "Look to his division..." After the repulse, General Pickett replied tersely to Lee, "Sir, I have no division."

Aside from some late afternoon cavalry engagements and skirmishing, this foolish assault ended the 3 day struggle in and around the crossroads town in Adams County Pennsylvania known as Gettysburg, giving General George Meade and his Union army their greatest victory so far of the war.

Though the war would continue on for nearly 2 more years, the loss at Gettysburg and the loss of Vicksburg the following day on July 4th would signal what many believed to be the turning point of the war.

I hate it every time we replay it on our long form programming. It makes me hurt. My wife is a UA alumn and her sister was still in school at the time there and I had to work 17 hours straight covering the outbreak not being able to answer questions fast enough to my bride or to my father in law.
Many people hold STRONG emotions in sports, I did too. But that week put everything in perspective for me. Seeing the devastation in person shortly thereafter after being subjected to nonstop live video coming in as it happened, already knowing the stories behind certain locations, hurt.
I hate seeing it air every 3 weeks but I realize that if we cancelled every showing of an emotional tragedy we'd have to cancel every season of 'Why planes crash' and every show about joplin, Moore, ok ,Tuscaloosa and every mention of that night that spanned from Mississippi to Birmingham to north Georgia to Tennessee that suffered devestation that insane night. However, thats what people watch these days.
All that to say, my heart will always be with those who lived (and died) through those terrible hours a few years ago.
Star Scales Pro is great for me. Not sure if it is still free though. Worth checking out.
Edit: thought this was the beer one
My bad

That's the Sugarhill RV park right?
what is the source for that picture?
Here are a few more Mexico Streams we will be using this weekend and are currently using on the air for those interested.

Stream

Ixtapa Guerrero en streaming vista Oriente

Will link more as they become available when I have the chance. Going to be a long weekend, yet again.
That site is unbearable. As bad as this one gets these days, it is truly a cyberspace abyss of nausea anytime I wanted self torture and perused those halls of unreality.

tl;dr it's the 'facebook comments in a 1 like=1 prayer facebook post' of AU forums.

Ah yes now it's just a game. The classic line when the sky is falling. I'm sure you had a similar outlook during the Kick 6.

I did. I was very excited. Then went about my evening. Not everyone has to be as irrationally engrossed in a single sport as you.
