I feel like lots of that sort of talk is empty threats. However, I could see ADs refusing to play this Texas Tech team.

They should kick them out of conference. The challenge they’ll have on not playing them is lost revenue. TT would sue and base it on a (rogue) judge allowing Sorseby to play and say thats not a good enough reason to not play.

And trying to destroy all of CFB.Cody Campbell is out of control.

Per Josh Brooks:

So of they kicked them out of conference (highly unlikely due to contracts and TV stuff) where would they go? Legally not sure what B12 can do because they’d have to survive lawsuits.

But if they could would that end TTU? It might be hard for them to schedule teams as Indy. And no conference would want them.

I don’t think they realize how 100% of the rest of college football world is against them on this issue. And that will have ramifications in future.

Keep in mind this is the same school that made Baker Mayfield sit out a year when he walked on to OU. frick them.

I'm assuming there are conference rules regarding players, gambling and eligibility. There would probably have to be some type of buyout/settlement if schools cancel scheduling contracts but the BIG XII was already sick of their antics to begin with and this ruling might push em over the edge.

It was his well being. He needed to be around his teammates.

I guess those previous 20 years around teammates was not enough to help him with his issues. This next year is going to be the one.

From what I gathered he claimed to be addicted to gambling and the defense is saying it’s mental health related. I think I browsed through the article kinda quick

You actually make a great point. The ruling only says he can play but it did not dispute he actually gambled. B12 could use that as reason. They could also let them play but say their games will not count for conference standings. It will be interesting to see what they do. If they don’t do anything it puts conf in a bad spot plus shows they are weak.

My guess is we won’t hear anything for at least a month as they meet with conf lawyers and go over everything.

Kinda funny to note that these former SWC teams are the same ones who pissed and moaned about texsa not being good conference partners for years because they do what's best for their program.

That's still on you, sip. Tech is just pissing on the ashes after you burned it down.
