Hogan revolutionized the game. That said, we could debate for days if golfers are athletes.

LOL. I have no real problem calling golfers "athletes"... although they are as much skilled artisans as they are athletes. But hitting long shots takes athleticism... so yes..."athletes"..
But speaking of golfers and Texans... Babe Didrikson Zaharias is probably in the conversation if we are allowed to suggest women for this. Sort of a female version of Jim Thorpe.

Man o' War is not even the greatest race horse. Silly to put him with Ali.

You know nothing. Secretariat and Man o War are the two greatest race horses in history. Secretariat was foaled in Virginia so not eligible for the list

I know that if it's accepted that there are two greatest race horses, one would likely be greater than the other.
Ali, would probably top most greatest fighter lists and his impact outside the ring would trump anything Man o War did. Secretariat was a phenomenon. Not sure I follow that since Secretariat is not eligible, we have to nominate Man o War. Weird.

Ali and Floyd Mayweather have the exact same dynamic. Either way Man o War was Time Athlete of the Year with Babe Ruth one year and was the face of the golden era of horse racing. Sports Illustrated and the Associated Press voted Man O War the greatest racing horse of the 20th century. This horse also sired War Admiral and grandsired Seabiscuit. You know so little

Don Lemon has handled more balls than anyone mentioned.

I will defer to your expertise in the matter, I don't know much about him.

Not in the world outside of sports. Maybe not in the world of sports.
Everyone has heard of Muhammed Ali. It is doubtful everyone on the rant has heard of Floyd Mayweather.
