I'd have to say 2004 Auburn just because Jordan Jefferson was the QB for LSU 2011.

All you have to do is base it on which melt was the hardest. 2011 LSU obviously.

The 02 game was a great game in LA , the AU 03 team had just lost Petrino, the offense was a mess, in O4 everyone forgets that USC seemed like they were on the verge of getting upset almost every week until the championship game where everything clicked. AU was more talented than USC in O4 and a better team all year.

Not gonna lie. 2004 Auburn was the first team to pop in mind. I don't think they would've beaten USC, but we will never know. One thing is true, they would've put up a hell of a better fight than OU did.

1969 LSU Tigers. This was Coach Mac's championship team. The Tigers went 9 and 1 and were blowing most teams out. They lost to Archie in Jackson 26-23; they passed on a possible tying field goal and failed to convert on fourth down deep in Rebel territory. The Tigers had a gentleman's agreement to meet #1 Texas in the Cotton Bowl for the national championship. Texas should have lost to Arkansas who would later be humbled by the Rebs in the Sugar Bowl. When Notre Dame announced it would break its bowl ban, Royal and the boys backed out of the deal with LSU. Perhaps, the best team in the country did not even go to a bowl game.

Before my time, but love history and college football and did not know this.
Thanks for sharing that.

The problem with 2016 Bama is the QB play and offense was completely inept at times. It was painful watching Jalen Hurts against Washington and Clemson. If you had the 2018 offense paired with the 2016 defense, you would have a team that would have given 1995 Nebraska a run for their money as the greatest of all-time. Unfortunately, we never saw a defense coordinated by Kirby or Pruitt paired with an elite QB like Tua, Mac, or Bryce. It was like two ships passing through the night.

2 years? Lol, UGA made up 40 points on your bitch arse in like 2 weeks. You know who else beat the hell out of us the year before? LSU and UGA, ask them how 04 went.

Don’t play ducking La Tech, Citadel, La Monroe as your OOC schedule.

Does it matter when we still played by far the tougher schedule than either of the other teams in contention?

Don’t struggle with a 6-6 Alabama team

That USC team whose dick you want to suck struggled way more with VT, STANFORD, OREGON STATE, UCLA, and CAL, lololol

You basically lost to T.J. Finley. Eat my big fat AU dong you dumb redneck POS.

You actually did lose to Bryce. Drove all the way down that shitty field on your arse. All because your RB is dumber than a bag of dicks.

2004 Auburn, maybe?
Should have gone to the big game, but they chose a cheating team (USC) instead. JMO.
