1983 & 2004 are legit claims IMO. Both teams stacked with talent & superior SOS.
MSM/TV match-ups ratings kept AU out of the show.
In fact, the 2004 BSC is currently vacated.

1983 Auburn. I wasn't old enough to remember 1966 Alabama.

Either 2011 LSU or 2010 Bama. Yes, 2010 Bama lost 3 games but they played 6 teams that had bye weeks before them and 3 of those had coaches and rosters good enough to take advantage. I think that team wins a championship almost any other year.
