To be biased. Not bias. Just based on that I’m going Dart Beck or Ewers.
Dart is a bitch and you know it. He won’t make it in the nfl as a backup.

I honestly think by end of year that Weigman comes out ahead as one of the top 3 coming into 2025 season.
Nuss has been good but no QB in SEC is consistent. Seen him make a million really terrible, inaccurate throws. Kelly doesn't seem to care. It is all about volume which I respect. But if Nuss was elite, LSU wins big time in several close games this season.
Too early to make this decision. Give it 4 more weeks and then lets check who is still winning and putting up consistent numbers.

This is a myth. You didn't play anyone worth a hoot prior to his injury.
That said, it’s no excuse. Sark should’ve had Manning prepped and ready.

Pavia and Nuss. Pavia has that unique ability to put his team on his back and carry them to victory. It's a very rare quality.

Ewers was literally subbed out in the first half this weekend.

I think there are compelling arguments for Nuss, Dart, or Pavia. I think its just a year where its going to be pretty muddy.

He did seem like he had the “it” factor. State was a lot better than their record just because of him. I think they’re going to pull off an upset before the end of the season.

Cook: 90.6
Beck: 89.0
Milroe: 82.7
Nico: 80.3

(edit: poor vandy, left out pavia)

To be honest, it's hard to argue against this other than just the small sample size.

With this being his first full season to start, I think we have seen him grow, along with this team, each week. This team and Nussmeier are still not a finished product. I think with more experience, he could become elite, especially if he decided to come back next year. I think he will continue to improve as the season goes on. His progression has been fun to watch.

Nah man Pavia deserves his flowers. Nuss is probably top of the list right now, but that will be a fun matchup vs Vandy.

Nussmeier is playing the best of any QB in the SEC right now. I don't know how anyone can argue different.
Nuss (like Beck) has some stat padding happening due to volume of throws.
Here are the SEC leaders by passer rating (100+ attempts). Opponents factor into this quite a bit, but it's a good starting point.
Arch Manning - 191
Jaxon Dart - 182
Jalen Milroe - 167
Blake Shapen - 166
Diego Pavia - 164
Payton Thorne - 150
Quinn Ewers - 148
Garett Nussmeier - 147
Carson Beck - 146
Nico Iamstillnotabletospellit - 144
Brady Cook - 136
Taylor Green - 128
Lanorris Sellers - 127
Michael Van Buren - 125
Brock Vandagriff - 124
Jackson Arnold - 118
Note - Neither A&M QB has more than 100 pass attempts, but they are at 141 (Reed) and 129 (Weigman).

Not saying Nuss is the best as he has had some accuracy issues, and missing a touch on the deep ball, but he has been real solid when it mattered.
Now if only they could get him to run, just a little

Pavia...and it ain't even close. He is literally carrying the team.

Nah he's got a ways to go, BUT he has crazy potential. Best deep ball thrower I've seen in some time. Took a picture of a stat I saw vs UK but don't know how to post it here. Anyways In both of his two starts this year, he has 5 completions of 40 yds or more (so 10 total). Both are the highest in the last 20 years. Trask and Tebow both had one game with 4. He needs to get experience still, but he's a keeper.

I’m going with Nuss. Guy makes play after play when it matters. He puts for dough not just drives for show.
