Actually Bradshaw has said in the past he couldn’t qualify academically at LSU

He couldn't qualify academically at LSU back then?

Did he finish high school?

Maybe Kamara. And maybe Keenan Allen.

One was actually on the team. One never enrolled in school.

If we're talking a really close recruiting battle, losing Tebow was more impactful than Allen.

Bradshaw was making a self-deprecating joke when he said this. He's not known as a super-bright guy, even though he was a hell of a ball player. Requirements back then for football players were even easier to skirt around than they are now.

Plus it was LSU. I thought anyone with a HS diploma got accepted back then.

I know he wasn't the most book-smart guy, but LSU didn't really have entrance standards back then.

Nick Chubb visted us but spurrier was out of town to accept some stupid arse reward ?

Did Spurrier collect the reward or accept an award?

LINKI can't think of many. Definitely Kenny Irons is up there.

We had a hell of a baseball player Tanner kicked off the team and I think he transferred to Old Dominin. Lonnie Chisenhall.

When I was a youngan we had a basketball player named Brent Price. Lights out 3 point shooter. He transferred to Oklahoma and he smoked us when we had to play with them when he was on their team

I kinda feel like Spurrier is both the best thing and worst thing to happen to your program in quite a while

I'd probably say Troy Aikman for football. Too many to list for basketball.

For Texas A&M the answer is Jarrett Stidham.

He is? We didn’t even recruit him very hard either time around. While it was a poor decision by Sumlin both times I don’t think it fits this thread.

Aggies were the favorite but Mond committed first and Sumlin had promised him he'd be the only QB in the class, that's probably the only reason he landed at Auburn.

A home state QB that ends up in the 1st round and with a 2-0 record vs your team is a pretty big miss IYAM

I havent seen many QB performances worse than Kyler Murray vs Auburn in 2015 and I've lived through Jeremy Johnson, Khiel Frazier, Clint Moseley, and Chris Todd 2008.

Dude looked like an 8th grader playing his first varsity game vs the defending state champs.

How we let Jerry Rice slip out of Crawford and go to Valley is beyond me? I mean that is our backyard. Some how , some way our staff should have known about him.
