Hannah was a freak. He wasn’t huge - 6’ 2” and played between 265 and 280 pounds - but he was incredibly strong. Benched 650 pounds and squatted over 900. Ran a 4.8 40. Quick feet and moved like a back. Had a mean streak. Despite not pulling much in college he became the best NFL pulling guard of all time.

Faneca is arguably the 2nd best Guard of all time. The only guard that was better is Hannah, and only by a little bit.

Pork Chop Womack.

He was a bigtime wrestler and track star as well. We've had several OL or DL that were wrestlers that were very good.
He had two brothers that were All-SEC OL, Charley and David. Charley played 12 yrs in the NFL.

I saw John Hannah play in '71 in TS. He played at about 275 lbs. But that was 30+ lbs > than the DL of that era. He was a man among boys.
I would need to see proof though of the strength #s stated.

While i don't think he was Hannah good in college, Barrett Jones going all american at all 3 positions deserves mention, as does winning the outland and rimington at 2 different positions. I have some level of hope we'll see another Hannah, while I put the odds on another Jones firmly at 0.

Im not going to name individuals, but the 2013 OL produced the greatest rushing offense ever created in the SEC.
4,533 total rushing yards
328.3 yards per game
SEC Title Game - Racked up 545 rushing yards, 74 rushing attempts, 26 rushing first downs, and 7 rushing touchdowns against Missouri.
Tre Mason: 1,816 yards rushing, 23 TDs
Nick Marshall: 1,068 yards rushing, 12 TDs
Corey Grant: 647 yards rushing, 6 TDs
Cameron Artis-Payne: 610 yards rushing, 6 TDs
For reference, BAMA and LSU's top RBs barely topped 500 yards last year, not even mathcing our FOURTH string RBs performance
