We had the fattest line in all of football (college and pros). They sucked though.

I'm with u on florida 84. Made kerwin bell look like Joe Montana. Zimmerman was frightening to watch.
I'll go with the one's I've seen. Top 5 or 6 in order.
1984 florida
1983 auburn
2012 Alabama
1979 Alabama
2004 auburn
2006 florida

I remember when BuccWild proclaimed him to be a future 10 time All-Pro when he got drafted.
Yes, he really said that, and he was dead serious.
That’s outrageous, but to be fair - NFL scouts were calling him the best college guard they had ever graded.

Did Barrett never settle in to an NFL role? I recall he was having some problems because he wasn't clearly suited for any specific position in the NFL -- sort of an Oline tweener -- but he was talented as hell.

Saban’s NC team at LSU in 2003 had:
Ben Wilkerson
Stephen Peterman
Nate Livings
Andrew Whitworth
Rudy Niswanger
All saw time in the NFL

That's pretty good too. The Bama group is pretty incredible.

He never stayed healthy with the Rams or Steelers.
He will be in the college football hall of fame one day though.

the performance that bama line put together against a really good georgia D in the second half of that sec title game in 2012 is the stuff of legend.

Over 300 rushing yards against Georgia in the 2012 SEC title game.
And they felt so bad for Notre Dame, Barrett Jones decided to rough up McCarron since he had a clean uniform.

Yeah, as I said, talented as hell. The injury bug sucks for him. He seemed like a really likeable guy those times he had a camera on him after big games, which is one reason I remember him so well. Unlike the college teams, I don't really pay much attention rosters in the NFL, just the games, so I never really noticed he wasn't playing anymore.

That offensive line manhandled the Irish front four that night. It was like men vs. boys.

2012 Bama best I've seen. I remember '12SECCG Fluker looking to the sideline saying run the damn ball, and two quarters later it was over.
Hate to go super homer here, but this years ol will be best since '12.
Leather, RossP, Jonah W, Womack-Cotton, Wills
Nasty

Those Tennessee lines were ridiculous back when Jamal Lewis was toting the rock

2012 A&M was the best that year. Can’t speak for others years
