So you literally just picked the Top 5 and said they stand out from the others. Nice.

That 2016 Alabama defense average scoring almost 7 points a game. As in they scored some many non offensive touchdowns, that is what the defense average scoring a game.

Alabama would have won 8 games that year without the offense ever scoring a point.

Based on what I observed, yes, without getting into any metrics.

You do realize that 41 isn't really that close to 1/3 of 153. 1/4 is more like it, but claiming things that aren't true is kind of y'all thing

You do realize that Bama scored 59 points against UGA.

59/153 = .3856 Which is over 1/3, but not understanding math is kind of y'all thing.

You are one of the more interesting cases of Bamaphobia I have observed.

Let me put it another way, since you seem to struggle with simple conversational tropes and probably have Asperger's. If you remove the 41 points Alabama scored in the SECCG, over the remaining 14 games Georgia gave up 8 points per game. Perhaps that will help you to understand why I, and others, find that fact remarkable. I'm actually complimenting UGA here. 8 ppg over 14 games is pretty damn solid.

It looks impressive on paper but is really only relative if every team played the exact same schedule.

By that standard, no one can claim any statistical superiority in college football.

That is pretty damn impressive, especially considering that almost a third of that points total came in one game.

I don't have Asperger's but my middle child does & your comment has definitely hit a nerve, so i'll walk away from any further conversations with you. Have a great day & may all your children be disability free

Just realized Bama outgained UGA, had more first downs, and more TOP without its top 2 receivers. I guess the hidden stats were the two dropped TDs. But Bama won the SEC title game convincingly without doubt and UGA's best offensive player (Bowers) available and making plays all over the field - interesting.

UGA had the best defense in the 2021 season since the Bammers defense in 2011.

Best three National Championship defenses this century are

1 2011 Bammer
2 2001 Miami
3 2021 UGA

This is FACT

UGA defenses in the past 3 seasons

2019 #1
2020 #20 (COVID year)
2021 #1

That is the reason Oregon hired our DC Dan Lanning as thier next head coach, he is only 35.

BTW, UGA opens with Oregon this year..

That's impressive.

Sidebar: There are some great games on opening weekend, per usual.

Utah at Florida
Cincinnati at Arkansas
North Carolina at Appalachian State
Penn State at Purdue
Oregon v. Georgia (Atlanta)
LSU v. Florida State (New Orleans)

This is the worst national championship team since 2014 easily, possibly the worst since 2003, it was the weakest playoff field we've ever seen coupled with the easiest regular season schedule of any champ in the playoff Era (although 2018 clemp has a damn fine argument themselves) but yeah killer D bro

In fact, Alabama's defense stifled UGA's offense better than UGA stopped Alabama, in both games.

Nice melt, bitch.
