The NFL is doing a vote on the 24 greatest college football play of all time. SEC plays are doing quite well, in fact the only one that lost was Prothro Catch. Some plays I felt like are pretty weak such a Bush push or Harvard Beats Yale.

You can still vote on the following:

Cannon's Halloween run vs. Punt Bama Punt

LINK

Kick Six vs. Young wins Rose Bowl
LINK

Miracle in Michigan vs. Bluegrass Miracle

LINK

Hail Flutie vs. Walker's first TD

Best college play I've ever seen in an individual level would be when Tyrone protho jumped over a dude to catch a ball he couldn't see over the guys head to score a td. Still can't believe that catch.

That aside the bluegrass miracle

Voting is rigged.

Walkers first TD should not be on any list. It was not amazing.

Also, punt bama punt should not be on the list. It was not one play, it was two.

All that said, kick six is the best.

Kick Six decided the national championship loser. Both teams would've lost to FSU either way.

A freshman completely trucking a future pro bowl safety on the road en route to a 15 yd TD and a record setting career isn't amazing?

Well, when you consider it was a freshman bowling over a future all-pro it was pretty amazing.....however, in the greater scheme of things should not be that high. Fluties pass will beat it easily. Or should.

I'm not sure which should win between the Kick Six and the Futie pass. Both were pretty amazing.

Amazing play, but it was against Southern Miss and meant absolutely nothing.

Prothro's catch did not result in a touchdown, he was down before scoring.

Auburn should have beaten FSU. Epic choke job.

I always hate these "Best Play of All Time" polls because most amazing plays are executed in different scenarios.

Do we vote for the one that was most unlikely to happen? The one that had the most impact? The one that featured the best strategy? Does a flukey play (Kick Six, Cal vs. Stanford) have more merit than a well-executed play (Vince Young Rose Bowl)?

Man I wish the crowd noise still sounded like it does in the billy cannon video.

It led to a TD in a game where Alabama was down by 11 prior to that.

That said, how does that have anything to do with how amazing the play is? If I were to scale the Green Monster and catch a possible HR, does it matter if my team has already wrapped up the division title and we're already up by 9? No, it would be the most epic catch you've ever seen.

All those other plays were game winners, and/or big time games against major opponents, or at least featured a great player.

If somebody made an amazing catch on the Green Monster in a spring exhibition nobody would care in a week once the play was off SC's top 10.

Great plays in great moments are always considered bigger. Its harder to make those big plays in pressure situations with all eyes on you. Players make amazing plays in practice goofing off all the time. Nobody outside of Alabama and Hattiesburg saw the Prothro catch live.

OBJs one handed grab last fall against the Cowboys was pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things and is widely considered one of, if not the most impressive catch in NFL history.

My favorite, the statue of liberty play for the win with Boise State over Oklahoma.

How was the Kick Six not a well-executed play? Just because you term it "lucky" or "flukey" doesn't mean it wasn't exectued to perfection. It was a designed play, called at the right time, and executed flawlessly.

Now the UGA catch was a 100% fluke job and should be catagorized as such.
