Imagine LSU of all places running up the score and throwing defense out the window

SMH

Now you’ll just lose to Alabama because you can’t stop anything instead of not being able to score on them.

I for one am impressed with LSU's offense, but the hyperbolic overreaction based on a small sample size against some of the worst defenses they'll play all year from certain fans is just setting up for a potentially bone jarring crash back to reality. It would be a hell of a lot more interesting if they can keep it up though...

Last season it was all about Burrow's flow chart:

quote:

Completion percentage above 50%, miss a throw.
Completion percentage below 50%, make a throw.
Completion percentage at 50%, run the ball

quote:

Why are LSU fans so high on Burrows? He's mediocre at best.

This season it's all...

"It says here Joe Burrow's a good quarterback. Who said burrow wasn't? I believe it."

Man I normally don't post much, but you guys get so hung up on who LSU has played and all that crap. Yes they have played inferior opponents but so has everyone else. I understand you guys come here to talk crap, it's what this is for. But why come at LSU fans like they are dilusional for what LSU has been able to do so far this year? When is the last time LSU dominated any of their non conf opponents how this team has? Or any opp for that matter. You Bama fans are so used to that, how many times have we seen Alabama do that to majority of their schedule and then slip up? Nobody has said that won't happen to LSU. But you can't sit here and tell me it is not impressive for an LSU offense to do what they have done no matter the opponent. And you seriously believe this LSU team isn't any different than the years past? They are just gonna falter to 2 or 3 losses like all the past teams lately? And you @summerofgeorge coming in with these stats? Gtfo of here. He never said they were first in every offensive category. He simply stated the ones they were 1st in. Did it bother you that bad you had to post bamas only 2 categories where they lead? That's like finding Bamas worst stat rankings and saying they suck bc of it. Get outta here. Let someone brag if they wanna brag, and you are the dilusional ones for actually believing that this team isn't different this year. Maybe that's how scared you are you are in such denial. You will all see sooner or later and you won't be able to deny it when it's slapping you in the face!! #november9th #wecomin'

After week 7 we will have a better idea of where we really stand. We will have played Florida (always good to great D) and Texas will have played Oklahoma to get a better barometer on how horrible their D actually is or isn't.

I literally posted stats. I'm not talking crap to anyone. What are you talking about?

I literally posted total offense stats. I have no idea what the rest of your ramble pertains to me posting total offense stats in a total offense thread means. I said nothing about what LSU is, has been or how many games they'll lose.

Posting stats is what I do Jimbo, especially in threads LITERALLY about stats

"LSU #1 Offense in SEC"

"Here are the total offense stats of the SEC"

"HOW DARE YOU PICK AND CHOOSE YOUR BAMMER STATS AND TALK shite AND GTFOH BAMMER AND YOU SCARED WE COMIN"

So we're number one in scoring, which is the point of the offense?

I'm not sure but for some reason they keep the stat anyway and people like to refer to it

YPP is actually a great metric, I'm just busting your balls for having to be a contrarian when we are #1 in the category of "scoring points".

I like you SOG.

LOL I'm not being a contrarian - the post literally says "#1 in the SEC in offense". People say "Scoring Offense" for scoring offense, usually.

LSU HAS BEEN VERY GOOD ON OFFENSE EVERYONE I AGREE

Actually that surprises me less than if you had told me Bama and LSU defense would be sucking hind tit. I’m probabaly wrong but at this point I’m convinced you can’t play this wide open spread offense and be a good defensive team. Don’t as me how they’re related but I’ll be darn if Bamas defense has dropped since we did two years ago. LSU switches and their defense goes to hell as well.

I don't think Lawrence was ever going to be in serious contention for the Heisman. I just don't believe in the regular season he was ever going to have the chance to have that Heisman moment that all the winners usually have. I think he's the best all around QB, just in my opinion. But the Heisman is already awarded before the playoffs and that's when he would be in games that has the national spotlight, if we make it

In most of those games you can pretty much name the score you want, so long as you leave those players in long enough to do it.

So while everyone else may be playing weaker schedules thus far, most people realize it and aren't making threads based on them.

LSU fans on the other hand think it means a whole lot.
