I think LSU has a solid offense.
But a lot of people are underestimating how bad Texas is on defense.

Well, I would have looked at how they ended the season.
I would have looked at who they started their season against...
I would have said, "It's certainly possible."
LSU was one of 3 or 4 schools I would have considered having a legit shot at having the #1 offense at this point of the year, along with Alabama and Georgia. I don't think either of those three would have been terribly surprising.
Now if you had said a team like Vandy or Arkansas and that had come true, I would have been legit shocked.

I know it’s not “in CFB history,” but no SEC team has thrown for more yards than LSU in their first three games of the season since at least 2003 (as far back as my data comfortably goes).
