This whole scenario unfolded just across the street from my house. The pond is on the north side of Harborstone Avenue. Please take with a grain of salt, but I heard there were multiple boys (not sure if 2 or 3) in kayak or small boat. One of them a young black male, around 12 years old. The boat/kayak flipped. The other young man was able to swim to shore. At around 5:30pm yesterday first responders started showing up, some with kayaks. I believe initially they entered the water with kayaks to try to pin point the canoe or kayak and young man without real means of making a rescue at first. One responder had a 12 ft push pole with him. I heard him yell he was barely touching the bottom with it with his arm extended down under the water. He believed the water was around 13-14 ft. Divers were able to recover the body at about 12:30am this morning. Very sad. Many prayers for the family!

Never seen mosquitos as bad as right now around my home. There are literally thousands around the exterior, especially under patio furniture, grill, toddler toys on back patio etc… every nook and cranny they can hide under they seem to be in. I made sure to there is no water sitting around after the last big rains we had. So far I have tried a hose end nozzle “mosquito and gnat barrier” from LA nursery which has permethrin. It will kill any it hits and seems to somewhat help but only for a day or so and they come back. I also had ascension parish come out through a work order and they sprayed around home and fogged my yard for free. Still seeing tons. I have katchy trap lights inside the house in 3 rooms and probably catching 10 a day inside the house just from opening doors as normal. My toddlers get terrible welts from bites so trying to do all I can. Thanks in advance!

I'm looking to take a video clip from a movie and put a face over the actors. Could anybody point me to an easy program or app to do this? Preferably free or cheap.

From my understanding they are limited time, and I have randomly stopped at about 3 different locations and been told they don't have them. Go figure
