He wouldn't have been allowed to get away with holding kids hostage that he oversigned to keep away from the competition
Saban's only won one natty since the portal started, and zero since the portal got rolling good

I think the hoarding athletes thing was why they created the transfer portal but that really isnt an issue anymore with out 120 schollies.

OMG, Lookie what we’uns got here, a LSUer bitter and mad and waaaa WAAAAAAA Waaaaaaing.. Who would have guessed it 40 years after Coach Bryant retired. Let that sink in… 40 freaking years.
Help me understand…. Did Coach Bryant have special rules only good him? Or were the same rules available to everyone? Exactly what NCAA rules did he violate that allowed him to win six NCs and get screwed out of two other ones?
When LSUers (especially) start down this rabbit hole, it is always confusing to me … what exactly Coach Bryant did that LSU couldn’t do, other than coach and recruit better than anyone else.
