well the SEC should've put appropriate conditions in their TV contract with ESPN to prevent this kind of thing. It's all covered in the contract. If the SEC screwed that up - then that's on them.

Espn/SEC doesn’t care about player welfare it’s about Ad $$$ and eyeballs. Why are they floating expanded playoffs, more league games etc. Everything they do is about selling Ad $$ that’s why you literally have games Th/Fri/Sat then on Holiday weekends Sunday/Monday…between expanded schedule and NIL it has made the game as a whole more watered down and not as exciting as it used to be!
