The last time LSU was nationally relevant in football the head coach felt compelled to inscribe #2 on the side of the ring. A decade of playing "Who's your Daddy" later and suddenly LSU's back.

Now, if you guys can just hurry up and get those NC rings back before Halloween?

This doesn't make sense.

It's that Louisiana education. They've heard of big words, they just don't know what they mean.

No. We get picked to lose by a handful of people and put in the Trap Game category against Vandy.

You're making me nostalgic for 2015 when Leonard Fournette came into T-Town statistically on top of the world and leading the nation in the Heisman race.

Does anyone remember how he left? Nevermind, just another inconvenient truth.

Would you prefer corndog, coonass, or cunny runt instead of Beaudreaux?

ETA: cause "Boudreaux" ain't what I'm aiming for.

Quite clever for a bammaroid! But the way you spelled it it would sound like;

"BO-DRO"

Last time I checked there were more "Bo's" in bamma than
Louisiana!

Every week someone puts LSU on upset alert and begins praying. Uh, not a darling team. When they start calling holding on Bama and not LSU, then you can call them a Darling Team.

Yea, we're good being hated. It's what happens to programs and teams who have dominated a sport for the majority of it's history.

Congrats on being liked I guess.

Oh right, just like the Yankees.

When you are good, those other things magically show up and matter. When you aren't, those other things aren't even known nor are they cared about.

Well one reason LSU fans don’t like Bama is because your coach left our program, told us if he came back it would be here, and then went to a SEC West foe.

That’s a pretty standalone thing.

It's a huge difference from the last time we were relevant. Here's what YAHOO said in 2011:

quote:

"Winning ugly" is not always a badge of honor, especially if you're the kind of team that expects to remain on the short list of serious BCS contenders. Membership in the upper crust in the up-tempo, spread-friendly world of 2011 tends to entitle one to fireworks, overt Heisman campaigns and gaudy box scores you could hang on a wall. Then there's LSU, which sits at the end of the bar with uncombed hair, a vulgar t-shirt and a plastic Abita cup and still goes home with the girl almost every night.

UGLY

I don't really care if we win ugly or put on a clinic, as long as the wins pile up; but this LSU team is fun to watch.

This is why Burrow is actually attending the University of Phoenix Online while he pretends to be an LSU player.

The Sports commentators want another SEC slugfest between Bama and another school. Bama has dominated the SEC for too long and that leaves them little to discuss. If it were Auburn undefeated and running hot the Sports News World would make Auburn the darling. They want Bama challenged during regular season because it’s better for ratings and talking points.
